Introduction: Teaching has always been a passion of mine. I get a lot of energy and satisfaction seeing a subject or concept click for a student. I've been tutoring for over 10 years. With me you will receive a lot more than just the time paid for the session. I always come prepared and make sure to follow up. I know how to work at the pace of the student, and understand that their motivation is the key to improvement. Mark is very intelligent and an exceptional tutor who has a unique ability to explain complex math concepts in a way that is easy to understand...He really took his time to explain the key concepts of Physics to me and how it applied in the real world. It is obvious that he is passionate about being a tutor and helping his students learn. Also his teaching style is engaging and he is always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that his students are grasping the material. Since working with Mark, I have noticed a significant improvement in my abilities, and I feel more confident in my knowledge of the subject matter. I highly recommend tutoring with Mark, he made Physics way more manageable than I initially thought. In addition, his prices are fair and he is more concern with his student's achieving their academic success which is way more rewarding to him. I really don't know how I would ever had passed Physics with an A+ without his help.

The first consultation is always free! If you have trouble affording my hourly prices let me know and we can discuss a plan that may work better for you.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
During the initial consultation I want to understand what you are struggling with as well as your goals. This will give me time to prepare for the first session to guarantee that no time is wasted.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2017 with a Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical Engineering. I was very lucky to grow up in a family of teachers and tutors. This allowed me to learn test taking skills as well as how to cater to the learning needs of others.
