Introduction: A translator since 1999 and an author since 2013, Raven Moore has lived abroad for over five years in countries such as Cote d'Ivoire and Japan while studying and/or working in those places. Raven's writing and translation work both reflect a unique sense of authenticity and social/cultural competency. Raven graduated from Georgetown University with a B.S. in Languages, studied Japanese at Keio University in Tokyo, and taught Japanese while studying linguistics at Michigan State University. She is the published author of "Padre!" and currently a law student concentrating in Digital Law. Raven has also translated legal and technical documents for law firms for over ten years --- her legal document reviews (e-discovery) have spanned many fields such as pharmaceutical, automotive, and engineering documents.
