Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Grammy nominated songwriter/producer/teacher Tim Gleeson traveled the world playing lead guitar and writing songs with superstar pop group Sister Sledge.("We Are Family") One of his recent songs, "Cheatin' On Me", was licensed for use in a promo for the CBS hit show, "Criminal Minds". Other recording credits include: "Coming Back Home", "Pain" and the soon to be released "Lies and Secrets". In 2010, another one of his songs was nominated for a Grammy for it's inclusion on the CD "Healthy Food For Thought." I enjoy the results of teaching and the recording process. Guitar lessons are customized according to the needs and level of the student. Teaching style includes finger excercises, note reading (if desired), chord knowledge, improvistion and music theory. Instruments taught are: Acoustic guitar and electric guitar. (all levels, beginners to advanced) Recording is customized according to your needs and your budget. My hourly rate includes all instruments, programming, production and arrangements.

I'm a 54 year old male who had never played a guitar before this, so I didn't know what I was getting into. I just randomly called Tim Gleeson after scouring the Internet for a guitar teacher. Tim was totally accepting of me & cut out a slice of time to accomodate my busy schedule - I work nights in IT. I was really nervous at first, but Tim put me totally at ease. Tim is methodical, organized, not high-pressure, but teaches you with respect & certain expectations that he wants you to achieve. He's very patient and gave me a great foundation to build upon. Conversely, my wife took Banjo lessons on Skype & she gave up after 3 months. This would never happen with Tim. You'll keep wanting to come back for more & more tips and lessons because he makes you believe in yourself. I was playing the "12-Bar Blues" in no time. Tim is a great teacher, but has also become a great friend and advisor as to what equipment I should buy. I wouldn't recommend any other teacher but Tim Gleeson in our area. Dave M.
