I booked the job months in advance as I am responsible to assist daily in the care of my disabled grandson and his brother. I was told the job would take 5 days, maybe 6 and the crew would be six. It took extensive planning to free up the week of July 9 as great attention had to be given to coverage for my grandsons. I was assured that booking (getting the job "on the board") months in advance would ensure CertaPro would give the job priority and would be ready. On July 9 a single van arrived with a crew of just two. I assumed they were only the first and waited for the additional vans to arrive but there were no more. With a crew that size, the job took 11 days. It was extremely troubling that Mr. Webber assigned a crew of two when many more were clearly required to meet the scheduled timeframe for painting this large clapboard house which they had so meticulously assessed for contract (pricing) purposes. Throughout the process I repeatedly explained the problem and the hardship the slow pace was causing. They kept telling me when the job would be done, all of which dates came and went. (On July 10 Mr. Webber swore they would be done by July 12!) The job finally ended on July 20, after 11 full agonizing days. In addition, several key elements of the Certa Promise were not kept. Equipment, including ladders, paint buckets, tools, drop cloths and the vacuum were left strewn all over the property at night. Water bottles and caps were left tossed about on the grounds. There was no consultation about where to stack the other equipment; the crew simply picked a flower bed (not planted this year but a bed nonetheless) and there it remained in a heap for 11 days. Finally, the windows were sealed in plastic on Tuesday July 10 and that plastic was not completely removed until a week later. This confined me, in 90 degree heat, in an airless house with no ability to see outside, a dangerous situation, the delay no doubt a further result of the grossly inadequate crew size. The sensor on my outdoor lights was painted leaving it incapable of sensing. Once they left it became apparent that a number of areas needed touch up badly as one color paint was on the other. The sides of the windows were sprayed to match the clapboard, not the window. On that 11th day more than 30 feet of fence were spray painted with no drop cloths. As a result a significant slice of lawn was painted gray and remains gray.Mr. Webber agreed to return and fix what could be fixed. When I inquired, he clearly indicated he would bring a different painter. However it was the same two man crew that arrived and that was really troubling. The painting was re-done in the problem areas and the sensor on the outdoor lights was cleaned. The return work on the painting required Mr. Webber purchase a gallon each of the three colors and he did leave that paint with me should I need to do additional touch-ups.

We had an excellent experience with Richard Webber from Certa-Pro Painters and his entire team. He visited our home within a day of our initial phone call to him to discuss our project and quickly provided a detailed and fair estimate. Our project included painting our dining room, foyer, upstairs hall as well as staircase and included all ceilings, mouldings and trim work. His painters did an excellent job and have a strong attention to detail and were very thorough in each part of the job including clean up. They completed the job exactly on time from Richards estimate and were completely professional. Richard oversaw the painters work each day and kept in constant communication with us throughout the job. His team is professional, reliable and hard working and we highly recommend them!
