FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It's competitive and fair, sometimes customizable depending on need. I aim to serve and sometimes that means agreeing to work within a client's budget. On the other hand, clients should know: you get what you pay for. If you're willing to invest in having a professional do something for you, you don't just want "good enough," you want it to work, you want greatness. Don't settle by looking for the provider with the lowest cost. Pay attention to what they say, how they present their service, and how they make you feel. Research their reviews and reputation. And always feel free to ask about pricing if it's really an issue. Note: Tech support and training are not included in my prices. If you need assistance setting up something online, I do have to bill extra for my time. The prices shown represent the price of the actual deliverable service only. For writing jobs, revisions are limited to one round included with the quoted hourly rate. This does not mean total re-writes. Additional passes at content beyond one revision will be subject to billing.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It all starts with a conversation. I provide my email address for scheduling free phone consultations so that I can get to know the customer and learn what they need. It is an efficient use of time and keeps things simple. If we're a good fit, the customer will send me any necessary materials to get the job started and I'll get to work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My strengths and differentiating qualities as a marketer come from my background as a creative, an avid linguist and writer. I bring a unique skill set to the table. My undergraduate degree is in French and Italian, and I consistently earned literary and academic honors throughout my academic career. I continue to publish blogs and ghost write for clients in several industries, and have helped authors get published. I'm a classically trained musician, proponent of the arts, crusader for linguistic integrity, and am well known for insisting on accuracy and precision in all that I do. I'm well versed in the various tools of the trade as well as knowing how job search tools function (from both the perspective of the employer and the candidate), and I specialize in providing a compelling voice for all of my clients. These skills, combined with a results-driven mindset and a desire to exceed expectations, have successfully transcended industry time and time again. Don't just look for someone with experience in YOUR field - look for someone with experience that supports many fields. They can often bring something new and different to the table to make your project stand apart.
