Raul was timely and very polite and welcoming. I instantly felt comfortable and eager to learn. He's very fluent in Spanish and English and also very knowledgeable in both languages. The best thing is that it's not about the money for him..teaching is his passion and he loves to help others. I learned so much in so little time. He's legit. No puedo esperar hasta la proxima!!

Robert teaches Italian lessons. I am a terrible student frequently confusing my High School French with what Robert patiently teaches me. He is good humored, well prepared and pushes me along just enough. I am never frustrated but always encouraged. Robert always is smiling and I never feel silly with my pronunciation. Robert really is a great teacher. I wish I had met him years ago before my first trip to Italy. I look forward to my lessons all week. Bravo Robert!!!!

Sandy is a wonderful ESL teacher! My 3 year old son enjoys her lessons. She always prepares fun materials for kids and knows how to deal with young kids very well. Soon after my son started taking her class, his preschool teachers noticed his improvement of English!

I feel so lucky to have found Katya to tutor me. Katya took ample time to discuss my language goals. It is great that she is working with me one-on-one to tailor the tutoring sessions to meet my needs. Not only is her comprehension of the finer points of English excellent, but she is also able to explain pronunciations clearly. She cares about the progress of her students and she assigns custom-tailored homework. On top of that, she’s also very knowledgeable about the language and about language theory. Highly recommend!

I have a great experience while working on English writing and speaking with Bina. She's very responsive and professional. She helped me identify my area to improve through listening to me and reading my writing samples, provide valuable feedback, and customize the materials/sessions to focus on those areas. I enjoy my learning experience with Bina and strongly recommend her.

I've been Paul's student for 8 months and I want share the great experience of learning English from him. He has good sense of humor. It is very important factor when you choose the tutor as repeated English class can become boring. His class is different from others in that he would like to help the student to be adjusted to American culture. It was very helpful when he explains the American way of thinking and behavior. His class covers situational talk, grammer, pronunciation, writing, reading and everything. Also, he takes the tailored approach about class contents. He tries to listen to the student's needs and suggests the practices I can do for improvement. I highly recommand him!

10/20/15 I wanted to write a review about Cross Cultural Communications in regard to my Spanish lessons. I had tried to learn Spanish in Berlitz in Princeton, NJ years ago, and the program of learning grammar and memorizing words did not resonate with my learning ability. I wanted to learn the language of Spanish but also the culture. At Cross Cultural Communications I got a native speaking teacher that made the language learning more interesting combined with cultural knowledge. I learned and retained much more using this method and it keeps me coming back to learn more and more. The Westwood, NJ location is convenient for me and the pricing of the classes are very reasonable. I would highly recommend this center for Spanish language lessons combined with cultural learning. Satisfied Customer – Saddle River, NJ Muchas Gracias

Luanna is a fantastic language instructor! She fully immerses her student in the Portuguese language; however, she is careful to tailor his or her study to the specific student's needs and retention. I have enjoyed my lessons with her to date and eagerly await my future ones!

My experience with Kit it was very good. She has a lot of skills that helped a lot. I'm Brazilian and went to NYC just on vacation but wanted to improve my English in different way, with private classes introducing things day to day and mixing with tour around the city, visiting gallerys, coffee shops, running away from traditional format of classes. I chose and proposed this format because was my vacation and I had just two weeks to enjoy he city and improvement as much as possible my English. She is a very good teaches, helpful, easy going and intelligent. But I know that was a challenge for her. I think that she can improve this format, but with some adjusts It's a very good option to who want to scape of traditional classes. Brenda.

I learn English from Connor. He proves what a professional great bilingual teacher should be and opens my eyes to the American culture. I have a full time job, he always tries his best to get our class arranged. By using various appropriate methods: reading, dialogue, writing, discussion, he makes my learning interesting and helpful. I got admitted to Columbia University thanks to his help and encouragement. He inspires me to love learning, explore new fields as well.

Linda is a professional of the highest order. She was genuinely interested in my development as a student and as a professional. She was always looking for ways to improve the class and learning environment, as well as to adapt the curriculum to my needs and interests. In addition, she always treated me with the uttermost respect. Finally, I must add that Linda not only has an acquaintance of the English language but also of literature. Thanks to Linda’s assignments and recommendations, I discovered several great authors and books that I was unaware of.

I travel for work and may have to vary days and times each week. I would need someone who can meet in Manhattan during the week. I am from an Italian family and have some very basic knowledge of Italian. I will be traveling to Italy in mid-August this year and would like to arrange an intensive training schedule of studying on my own and tutoring sessions in order to possess conversational Italian capability by the time of my trip. I would like to work with a tutor to develop a custom curriculum to help me realize my dream of finally learning to speak Italian to my family.
