I have been working with Mike for nearly 8 months. I am a person who has been fit in the past, but through moves and professional promotions found myself less focused on fitness and, as a result, heavier. I'm over 50 and want to age well. When I first contacted Mike, I talked through this goal, my past fitness, and injuries over time. Mike customized my routines, and developed workouts that would allow me to get back into shape, become stronger, and increase wellness without injury. When I did manage to injure my knee (all on my own!), Mike immediately modified workouts so that I could continue to exercise while allowing my knee to heal. I've also taken on kick boxing, something I never would have tried on my own. Remarkably, I love this discipline! Ok so today was my 1st class and I have to say wow. Mike was great. He was very profesional but has this down to earth feel about him. After sitting with him for about 5 minutes he knew exactly what I was looking for and focused the training on that. His skill as a trainer comes out immediately and you can see he genouly wants to help. I can see myself using Mike going forward as my personal trainer. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?1. I do an initial assessment for 15 mins. (free of charge) 2. Set a first appointment with me or any of my Assistant Trainers or Assistant Self Defense Instructors. 3. Train 4. Re Assessment after 10-12 sessions 5. Pro Trainer reassess the progresss in both Tactician Fitness or Tactician Self Defense System.
