After a lifetime of eating without acknowledging anything other than calorie intake, I stumbled upon Shane. I have since learned how to eat properly along with a multitude of body weight exercises that keep my body (and figure) quite happy. Three years ago Shane trained my body and mind to lose 35 pounds, a feat I never imagined possible since the last time I was that small I was 12! After an injury to my hip I unfortunately gained all the weight back (plus a little fluff on the sides) as a result of being unable to walk correctly for over a year. I recently got back into a routine with Shane as my trainer and have already seen amazing results. In just three weeks my numbers on the scale have gone down as well as losing inches everywhere, but the best thing is my pain from my injury has decreased insanely- I am walking much better and I hardly have any pain in my lower back- did I mention two of my abs are bulging out?? NEVER thought that could happen! My clothes fit better, my dresses look dressier, and I actually have the energy to keep up with these twin two year old boys I watch everyday! Shane has helped me see mentally and physically how much healthier, stronger, and happier I can be with a good workout and nutrition plan on my side. Finally someone that actually cares about my well-being and encourages me to be the best person I can!

Since starting training Shane has been very helpful. The workout plan is really easy to follow, and I love that it's all body weight so I can do it anywhere. The meal plan though more challenging for me because I'm used to be being lazy and eating sandwiches is easy for the average eater as well. And whenever I have any question no matter how dumb it seems to me he answers them. Though I haven't been training with him long I already see a difference in my size and have been getting lots of compliments on how good I look.

"Shane is a fantastic personal trainer. He is with you each step of the way by talking to you and explaining the diet and exercises; demonstrating how to properly execute each exercise; if you have problems executing any of the exercises he quickly comes up an alternative which suits your abilities, plus if you have any questions he answers you right away (Sorry for all of the texts! :) ) Thanks to Shane and his program I haven’t felt this good in years, I am gaining back all of the confidence I had before had I gained the extra weight and I am also developing a physical fitness I have always wished to achieve. I highly recommend him!"

    I attend many fitness seminars and webinars, I read fitness journals and books, and continue my education through ACE.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    I have had a long time love of being active. After working many years at jobs that made me quite unhappy I decided to do something that helps others improve the quality of their lives and that I could be happy with doing.

  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

    One client was unable to do much activity after a bad hip injury. After being released from physical therapy she still had a lot of pain and difficulty moving throughout the day. With the program I designed for her, she has lost weight, is able to move more efficiently, and has had a significant reduction in pain.
