Private Tai Chi Instruction

Had my first session today and I was very pleased with the instructor. He was friendly, very professional, competent, and passionate about his teaching. He listens carefully to all questions and made adjustments to meet my physical needs. I have already scheduled my next lesson.

Massage Therapy

Ben was tremendous and a consummate professional. After one session, my knees felt looser and less inflamed and sharp pain in my shoulder has reduced to mild tenderness. When I asked about next steps, Ben was not focused on selling the next session. He was genuinely interested in my response to the treatment to see where to go next. I am definitely going back and recommend you try him if you are suffering from chronic or acute pain.

So far, so good. I attended the first class last night. The class started on time and there was a good mix of attendees. I am looking forward to next week.

Massage Therapy

My experience with Ben was such a positive one. I went into my session with such pain in my left arm and shoulder caused my a pinched nerve. After some consultation with Ben beforehand on the phone, he devised a plan to ease up the pain in my arm and shoulder area. I had booked a 90 minute session and it went by so fast, he had me so relaxed by the end of our session, I never felt rushed, he totally took his time and talked with me throughout the session constantly asking me if he was using too much pressure. When he had to use more pressure, he let me know to be prepared for a little more pain but that it was good pain not bad. I would recommend Ben to anyone who needs this kind of therapy for acute pain. Call Ben now, you will not be disappointed.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My base rate for a one hour acupressure massage is $85 depending upon the location. My base rate for martial arts and Tai Chi/Qi Gong instruction is generally in the same range.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I like to begin with any new client by taking some additional time before the session to discuss their needs and concerns. I try to tailor each session to the individual.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have been trained through a one on one apprenticeship, which was the old style of training. I have been studying the martial and healing arts since 2005 and continue to study and train.
