Hired American Brothers to repair 2 porch steps and resurface some loose concrete. They did a fantastic job. Came when they said. And explained in detail what they would do to fix our problem. They gave a reasonable price. Would recommend this company to anyone. Very nice and polite workers.
Giovanny did some concrete work at my home....showed up quickly for quote....started and completed the job the very next day. His pricing was fair and he did quality work in a timely. I am very pleased we chose to go with Giovanny and I would definitely use him again in the future!
The driveway had steps to the walkway and I could never snowblower it. Matt replaced it was a gentle slope walkway that is much easier to maintain. Fair price. Did the job when he promised he would. Three years later and they look the same as the day he poured the cement.
I had a broken concrete landing at the base of my entry stairs. Nertil bid immediately on the project, had a reasonable price, was very responsive to questions and showed enthusiasm and interest. The project was completed on time and looks great! I highly recommend this company and will definitely call them for my future projects.
They repaired a stoop and replaced concrete path that was being raised by a tree. They arrived early and finished pretty quickly. Left no mess, however, they didn't/couldn't take the old railing with them.
The job involved staining the deck, screwing in loose boards, and fixing two hand rails of a stairway of a deck that is roughly 980 square feet. I had also asked for the replacement of a crumbling sidewalk- roughly 175 square feet. Thomas Fredrick was fantastic. He was prompt in arriving to give the quote and pitching the price- which was very reasonable given the size of the job. He and his crew were prompt in arriving and quickly finished the deck in two days. The concrete work also took about two days- between the removal of all of the old concrete and pouring in the new foundation. All of my expectations were exceeded (which is rare for me), given the size of the job. Tom also took on the repair of one fence panel piece & replacement of a mailbox that had a broken cover. Any questions/requests that I had were quickly addressed (which rarely happens with some contractors). I am extremely satisfied and would consider TNS for future jobs and would highly recommend them to others in the area.
Carlos was an extremely knowledgeable individual in all aspects of concrete work. He shows a true love of his work and takes great pride in what he does. He treated the job as if he was doing it on his own home and did absolutely flawless work. I would highly recommend him to anyone that needs any sort of masonry work
ARC did great job doing front concrete work with high quality in quick turnaround time ..
The team did a 'refresh' of my small, urban, landscaped backyard. They repaired a broken water feature pump, replaced old bushes with new, matching bushes, and also stained the fence. The end result was fantastic and they did a great job. A couple of things that could have been better: it took a long time to find a date to do the work, the price and work estimate was lower than anticipated (they had to sand off the stain by hand rather than using a sander), and the water feature pump had to be repaired several times before it finally worked so they had to come back a couple times. However, Steve was very responsive, honest, and nice. Would recommend them highly.
Pablo gave me a fair quote to replace 2 concrete slabs, a fence post and door. He showed up when he said he would, did the job in one day, and came back a week later to install he fence door I had to order. I would hire him again.
Hi I'm Julie Amarie and recently we had a pipe burst in our basement in queens, GlobeTech came in an Emergency service and pumped out the water right away. The aftermath left us with a warped floor and saturated drywall. GlobeTech also provided a rebuild option and moved very quickly. Through the whole process I can honestly say their service was very thorough and consistent. I am very Happy with their services and I will definitely call them again if I ever need any maintenance in my home.
When you are inviting someone into your home, you not only need them to be knowledgeable and skilled on the desired task to be completed, but you need to feel safe and comfortable that you and your project are going to be well taken care of. I am in the midst of doing a first full home renovation in NYC, which is no easy task, and my concrete floors needed to be removed asap in order to advance. The company that installed my floors previously did a poor job resulting in the floors to fail. Luckily, I found GMA concrete and Giovanni and his team were ON IT from day one. You have to understand that I'm the kind of person who says, "If I can do this myself, why would I pay someone else to do it". And I admit that I can be a bit of a demanding client - probably because I demand so much of myself - but Giovanni met me with patience and professionalism. He walked me through step by step the reasoning behind what he had to do and why. He was focused on finding long-term solutions for my floors instead of just the quick fix. He did the one thing that seems to always be an issue with people in this field of work... he communicated clearly with his client! His responses were timely, his demeanor was polished, his work was exceptional and on top of all that - he was just a nice guy. With all of the understandable stress that goes into a home renovation, it was a comfort to know that I was in good hands. My only regret is that I didn't meet him sooner so that I could've had him do more on my project. This is my first review on this Thumbtack thing and really my first review I've written on any site. I work what feels like 100 hours a week just to barely pay my mortgage so I really don't give my time to stuff like this - but I know that these blurbs are important for people who have to invite strangers into their homes. Obviously, I can't speak to anyone else's experience with GMA except my own - but in a world where people can make the choice do wrong and take advantage of their clients, its good to know that there are commendable people out there who are doing things the right way and it didn't feel right to let that go unnoticed. Feel free to email me on this thing if you need to. It might take me a sec but I'll respond.
Very professional , David and his team showed up early, got to work removing a concrete patio. The weather was nasty , but they didn’t cancel. I would highly recommend these guys for any job you have inside or outside of your home. The price was very reasonable in comparison to other quotes, and I couldn’t speak more highly about the quality of their work. I have already booked them for other jobs. Use these guys!!
Ryan came over today as planned. Good attitude, ready to work and a funny guy too. Our deck and stairs look great, and he even threw in painting the wood lining our driveway. He did such a great job, he’s eventually coming back to take care of the cracks in our concrete, and I’m sure that work will be just as fantastic! Thank you, Ryan!
Great job on a concrete slab for a shed. Would hire again! Easy to get quick estimate. Good communications. Friendly and honest.
Pete and team did an amazing job on our backyard patio and pergola area. We were first going for concrete, but Pete recommended pavers that didn't go over our budget and looked so much better then concrete. I am very happy with the workmanship and the outcome of the project. I highly recommend PDS.
Mehir did a wonderful job with the concrete in my shared driveway. He gave me a wonderful price and the job was completed in a timely manner. The concrete also looks great and it is angled correctly.
I've hired John for two projects: pour concrete pads for A/C and landscaping. Both project were recently completed and I'm very happy with the result. John and his crew did an excellent job. Highly recommended!
Dean has completed many masonry projects at our home over the year. He and his crew have replaced 16 sidewalk panels and the driveway apron, excavated and built three stone walls with multiple levels connected with bluestone steps, new construction concrete pool decking, and a gorgeous living room fireplace makeover. Highly recommend, prompt, professional, quality work.

I am very happy with their services and would like to work with them in future.

All stamped concrete is not the same. Our 34 years of experience with stamped and colored concrete allows Unique Concrete to produce a product of unmatched strength and durability. Our stamped concrete process offers excellent quality control and the realistic look of custom masonry. While the demands of every job are different, our process remains the same. Our structural slabs are always reinforced with steel rebar and 2 ¼ structural synthetic fibers. On top of this structural slab, we pour 1 ½ of integrally colored 3 dimensionally reinforced quality concrete fortified with PVA fibers and an added water repellant. This concrete overlay is embossed with a texture and pattern to create a cast-in-place concrete tile with the look of stone or brick that is guaranteed not to delaminate. All of the impressions that are placed in the concrete to define the pattern are actually grouted. It is important to note that this is not a simulated grout joint that relies on a superficial stain for a color difference- The color difference between our stamps and grout is permanent. The use of integral colors offers you a product that needs to be resealed less often, if at all. This decorative stamped concrete product ages very gracefully and over time will take on the look of a concrete paver. Also, if a chip should ever occur on an edge, colored concrete is seen and not uncolored concrete as would be the case if a dry shake coloring process was employed. The saw cuts and control joints are designed to be within the grout joints and not indiscriminately applied across the pattern. Finally, this stamped concrete surface is rubbed with a grindstone to eliminate any sharp edges that might be uncomfortable for barefoot traffic. The end result is a decorative concrete product that more closely represents the realistic look and beauty of traditional custom masonry and done in a cost effective way.
