Artemis B. says, "My interaction with Chef Brian leading up to the 6-person dinner party to celebrate my husband’s birthday was very good. He was available to speak over the phone, he emailed me lots of options for all the different courses, and I was able to easily find what I was looking for without having to design custom dishes. The tiered pricing information was also very clear (depending on the ingredients of the chosen courses). About a week before the dinner, I contacted chef Brian to confirm the day and time we had previously agreed, and I said I looked forward to meeting him in person. My expectations fell short on the day of the dinner, when he called to inform me that he had another party to attend to, someone who was his client already, and that he was going to send someone else in his place. I did not appreciate the fact that he had double-booked without previously informing me. The prepared courses turned out to be nice, and the dinner was a success, but the last-minute notification about chef Brian not being the one showing up at my house did not reflect the level of professionalism that I expected. Chef Brian was the person I hired and the only person I dealt with for 4 weeks leading up to the party. At no point during our interactions did he say that there was a chance he might not be the one running the dinner party."See more
