Michelle is great with kids. Our 7-year old daughter loves her piano lessons and always looks forward to them. More important, we can hear that she is really learning and making great progress. Two of her school friends have started lessons with Michelle after we recommended her.

It was a big pleasure working with Consonance Music team. Not only were they amazing at the organizational stage of the event, but they did a great job on our big day. People like them definitely make your event planning less stressful. Very responsive, personable, professional, accommodating, reasonably priced, flexible with music choices.. And when I say "flexible", I really mean it. They can play everything from classic Mendelssohn to Gotie - to Sia - to Star Wars or Game of Thrones themes, and all in between: you choose..! They also get very creative with the instrument combos. I've heard their guitar/violin, and it sounded just unreal! We originally discovered Consonance Ensemble and had them playing at our wedding several years ago. Since then, I've been to at least couple of more events where they performed, and everybody - from the hosts to the guests - was really happy about the great job the Ensemble's done. I always recommend them to all of my friends and family. One of my friends, who had Consonance Music playing at their wedding, told me, that they also played at his proposal. He was so impressed how flawlessly everything went, so hired them for the wedding as well. The other thing I'd like to mention, to get an artist combination you want - book them as much in advance as possible. This will alleviate a lot of stress from you for all these months before your event. One less headache! However, if, for some reason, your event is right around the corner, I highly recommend still giving them a shot. As the other reviewers mentioned, the Consonance team was able to find the availability in as close as couple of weeks from the event. To me, this says a lot about how well-organized they are. Thanks for your wonderful work, and hope to see and listen to you soon again!

Harry has a great love of music and superb knowledge of viola, violin and piano. He's terrific at imparting theory during a lesson and always makes up the time if he arrives late or has to miss a lesson. He's cheerful and high-energy. Highly recommended.

I am fortunate to have found a dedicated and professional violin teacher for my two children. Miss Victoria has a great personality and is able to keep them focused and motivated. My daughter was especially taken immediately with her encouraging and supportive approach. Their hand position and technique are much improved since starting with Miss Victoria.

My 5 year old son started taking piano lessons with WillYouLearn a couple months ago and we are beyond thrilled! My son looks forward to the lesson each week and has made tremendous progress in the short time he has been playing. He already can play songs by memory. The lessons are thorough and our instructor is punctual, accessible and always engaged with my son. Highly recommend!

My wife and I are extremely happy that we hired Mariko as the solo violinist at our Central Park, NY wedding on 11/16/2014. She is a super talented musician and a very friendly person. All of our interactions with her has been wonderful. Since my wedding was outdoors in Central Park, on a cold and windy day, Mariko was initially concerned that the weather may damage her equipment. But she quickly found a solution for us by offering to rent a violin so she can still play at the wedding. She showed up early to the ceremony location (before we even got there). We asked her to play "Canon in D" along with any songs that she feels would suit the occasion. Needless to say, all the songs she chose were romantic and sounded perfect for our wedding. My wife and I received many compliments from our guest about Mariko. We would definitely recommend Mariko to play at any special events.

We have been students of the Piano Workshop for 7 years. Mark, the director, does a great job at matching students with teachers and is very accommodating to work with scheduling lessons especially with families that have very full schedules. We enjoy the recordings done at every recital and they make a good teaching tool as well. There are lots of teachers of various disciplines so students of all musical talents can benefit at the Piano Workshop. It's a professionally run outfit that I would recommend to all families.

Maria is the most thorough, pleasant, and knowledgeable private music teacher I've ever taken lessons from. I leave each piano lesson with a more comprehensive understanding of notes, of rhythms, of musicality, but most importantly, of myself.

On our first violin course, Emanuelle helped me to correct my gesture of holding violin, also taught me how to practice upper bow. After the course, i feel that i can hold the violin more comfortablly and also i can make more powerful sound with my bow. Emanuelle teach with great patience, and he know how to inspire me to find my own way to hold the violin and bow. learning with him is a fruitful experience

I was looking for a teacher who can teach beginner adult violin and I found a perfect teacher! I learned violin when I was a child so I did have prior exposure but I haven't played it for about 10 years so I didn't know where I stand or where I should start from. Tianyang also checked the condition of my violin (it was still in a playable condition thankfully). After the first lesson he could see exactly where I stand now and where I should start from. He is helping me to learn the right posture again and he's giving tons of tips as well. He is very patient and encouraging. He works well with adults but I am sure he'll be good at teaching children as well. I'm very glad to learn violin from him!

Helene was my piano teacher from kindergarten through high school. She taught me how to read, understand, play and love music. Furthermore, my early -and in-depth- start with piano prepared me for years of trumpet in various advanced bands. Although I am not currently taking lessons, I still sit down to play piano whenever I get the chance. I'll play anything from Bach to Beethoven to Josh Groban to new and classic Disney - really anything I'm in the mood for. Helene's teaching has made me proficient enough in piano and music in general such that I can truly enjoy playing. Thanks Helene!!

Abby has worked with our new-to-violin ten year-old since the Autumn and we have been greatly impressed with her patience and insight. She is able to connect directly with our student and is both respectful and challenging with her direction and goals. We especially appreciate her flexibility in scheduling lessons (and availability for in-home or in-studio sessions), as well as her assistance in all aspects of violin maintenance (instrument rental, care, etc.). In the words of our student, "she's patient and friendly and fun!"
