I had been playing guitar for 4 months, before taking lessons with sean, and the guitar notes still sounded a little bit off. A couple lessons with Sean and i can hear the difference in sound. He's very patient and positive in his lessons, highlighting what's going well and the specific areas that can be practiced. He also explains the chords, rhythm, and music theory beyond what we're doing, and how certain rhymes frequently shows up in pop, rock, country, and reggae songs. I would recommend Sean to friends.Apr 5, 2020Verified

Taking lessons with Sean is very informative and always fun. I have been taking lessons with him for over 10 years and have learned so much about guitar. He is a great mentor and has a great way of teaching guitar to people of all ages (being that I started when I was about 7) and I definitely recommend that you take lessons from him, you won’t regret it!Jul 11, 2020
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?$40 30 min $50 45 min $60 60 min
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? For a begginner I will start by showing them the basic parts and names of the instrument. I will show you easy songs to get you PLAYING lesson number one! Rock songs like "Smoke on the Water", "Eye of the Tiger", "Seven Nation Army" are good to start with. I’ll ask what my students are interested in too so we can set goals to work towards. I can help students who are looking to learn casual songs as a hobby or more serious players who are looking to push themselves to a new level.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I went to William Paterson University and majored in Jazz Performance. I play electric and acoustic guitar. I can play many styles such as rock, pop, jazz, blues, country, and folk. I am a full time musician and guitar teacher.
