Marquese enjoys writing poetry, traveling, and reading in his spare time.

Before working with Marquese, I had studied voice for 13 years and performed professionally for many years. I thought I had a pretty good idea of voice. Yet, I leaned more about my voice in two months with Marquese than I had in the previous 13 years combined. This man is brilliant. Not only does he know singing, he has a zillion metaphors to help the student “get it.” As a teacher myself, I marvel as his instructional aptitude. He is demanding but he is tremendous fun. It is pure joy to have a lesson with him. I cannot overstate how terrific my experience has been with Marquese as my voice teacher.
