Introduction: Hello, my name is Morgan Kolenut, I am the founder and photographer of MooShoot Studios. I was born and raised in New Jersey, so I’m a true Jersey girl. Photography is more than just a picture to me it is a feeling. As Don McCullin said, “Photography for me is not looking, it’s feeling. If you can’t feel what you’re looking at, then you’re never going to get others to feel anything when they look at your pictures.” When taking photographs my goal is to provoke others to feel. As a young curious little girl I had always dreamed about becoming a Photographer. My father was a big influence in my love for photography, giving and teaching me how to use his Canon AE-1 SLR. After high school I attend County College of Morris and then the Art Institute of Philadelphia for photography. Although one of my biggest dreams was to take beautiful pictures and make priceless memories, the path I was destined to take did not lead me there right away. For 10 years I worked as a Vet Tech at various different shelters and hospitals. Being able to work with animals and their families during their happiest times and saddest times has helped me gain a better understanding for emotions. Although dedicating my time to help others in need has been an amazing and satisfying life experience, deep inside there has always been the desire to continue on the path I first started on, photography!

This experience was everything I could have wished for and more. I am not someone who enjoys getting their picture taken but I felt comfortable and was having an amazing time. I would 100% recommend MooShoot photography to anyone needing photos taken.

Morgan is an excellent photographer . All our pictures for came out beautiful and she finished the project in just 3-4 days . She was professional and made us feel comfortable during the shoot . She also made sure to show us pictures after most of the shots to make sure we liked it as well . I booked Morgan for my sister's wedding, and she was absolutely incredible! She was easy to communicate with, obviously very organized, and was really sweet. She came to the venue early to scope out lighting, and was so fun to work with during the shoot. Morgan executed the "first look" flawlessly and perfectly captured a beautiful moment. During the shoot of the bridal party and family, she took a huge variety of shots and was able to capture the personalities of our party so well! At the ceremony, she was there capturing all the important moments, but I never felt like she was in the way or blocking the view of our guests. During the reception, Morgan captured some awesome candids and was buzzing around all night making sure everyone and everything was included. The sample photos she sent the next day were amazing, and I can't wait to see the full set! She brought along a second shooter who was also incredible, easy to work with, and so sweet. We loved having both of them at the wedding, and would 100% book again! Thank you Morgan!

Morgan was truly a pleasure to work with. She was quick to respond to my request and extremely flexible with her schedule. She is passionate about photography and took the time prior to our appointment to scope out the park for the most picturesque scenery. She was great with my wife and daughter and had great recommendations for poses. I would recommend her to anyone!
