I've been wanting to start guitar lessons for awhile but it's always seemed so daunting. Jason took all the pain out of finding an instructor. He set me up with a great teacher and pointed me towards a custom lesson package for beginners. I'm on my second lesson with Jonah and couldn't be happier. Thanks Reverb Lessons!

Phenomenal musician, great teacher, cool cat - I rate David First INFINITY STARS. I've studied music here and there, but it wasn't until I started taking bass lessons with David a few years ago that it all came together for me. He explains music theory in a way I can understand and translate to actual practice that is not a chore, it is fun and addictive! Besides developing technical skill, Dave also helped me grow as a musician by getting over feeling awkward jamming with other people. I eventually felt comfortable enough to audition for bands and ended up in a fun one, playing out in the city even! David was there for my first gig, too. My husband was so impressed with my progress, he started guitar lessons last year and has come so far, it is amazing. We feel like Grasshoppers to David's Master Po. He is the best, ok I'll stop now, you get it.

I am a Manhattan based musician and music teacher. I give lessons in piano, guitar/bass and songwriting. As a professional musician, I have played in a number of Broadway shows and have traveled extensively in the U.S. and abroad playing with various bands. I have performed more than once for the queen of England and for presidents Bush and Clinton. I am also an accomplished songwriter writing both music and lyrics and composer of several musicals that have been performed in New York and around the U.S. To listen to my music or to read reviews of my work from The New York Times, The New Yorker, etc., please visit my website. As a teacher, I began my career of teaching at Columbia College in Chicago and have been teaching privately at my studio in Manhattan for more than 20 years. I have also enjoyed playing sports all my life and divide my time by teaching tennis (my resume is available). In Manhattan, I am a teaching pro at Central Park Tennis Center. In Riverdale, NY, I also teach at TCR (The Riverdale Tennis Center). In addition, I am an Italian who has traveled and worked extensively throughout Italy. I have studied the language at The University of Illinois, Scuola Italia, Parliamo Italiano, and privately from a professor at The University of Bologna (resume available). I have been teaching privately for 15 years. I also do Italian to English translations for corporate clients. One of them was the 5-minute energy drink.

I take guitar lessons from Sebastian. He has a great deal of knowledge in Music Theory and technique. He is very helpful to me as a beginning student. I had gotten into some bad habits trying to teach myself on Youtube and he has gotten me turn around and getting rid of the bad techniques I got. He is patient and persistent both are qualities I need. He has found ways to motivate me to practice and improve. I think he is a excellent music teacher
