This band did a great job for us. Alan was very responsive and easy to work with. The whole group was professional and friendly, and the music was great! Everyone at our event had something nice to say about the playlist and quality of the performance. Highly recommended!

Sean and his band provided ideal lively jazz music at a local event. They were super easy to communicate with beforehand, and they played beautifully to a large very appreciative crowd. I strongly recommend them.

Vasiliy and his band were amazing at my wedding and guests are still talking about them ! They played a variety of music from modern to classic and it all sounded so beautiful. Vasiliy also spent a lot of time with me helping find the music for the wedding March and ceremony processional. The music we picked worked really well with the theme of my wedding. It is very easy to work with Consonance Music because they very helpful and responsive. I would definitely use them for other events. Thank you so much for my wedding day memorable!!

Taking lessons with Jonathan has been a blast. While I'm not a "new" person I'm a pretty new player and the variety of music I've learned has kept it interesting and challenging. We've worked on classical pieces, Beatles, bluegrass and jazz and blues. He's taught me a lot of theory as well as practical technique. And how to practice. The past few years have changed the way I listen to music.

Love U Music School! Adult Band Workshop was a great experience. Lou Ubriaco taught me how to work together with other musicians and perform in a Band while understanding the music theory behind it. Lou is a perfectionist who will not stop working with you until you get it right so get ready to work hard and get results!

Joyce has been teaching my son trumpet for 3 years. How do I appreciate her? Let me count the ways! - Son played trumpet in school band throughout middle school before starting lessons with Joyce. He strongly resisted learning to sight read all those years. Joyce had him (happily!) sight reading within the first few months. - Joyce helped my son correct some technique problems which were frustrating him. His progress was impressive, and he won a coveted spot in the area all-state band. - Joyce is open to working with music that her students enjoy. Jazz improvisation has become a staple of lessons that my son looks forward to, and solos in his school jazz band have flowed from this. - Whenever I listen in on lessons I always hear laughter. Even when my son is tired and grumpy before a lesson, he comes out of the lesson feeling great. -Joyce loves cats! Your cat will be treated like royalty whenever Joyce is around.

Mark Weisman has been my son's piano teacher since he was 11 years old. Alex is now a proficient pianist at age 21. Under the tutelage of Mark, my son advanced from a music student to a true musician. Mark is an engaging teacher who introduces his students to a variety of music genres, keeping classical, standards and popular music all part of the student's repertoire. My son Alex's interest in music was spurred on by Mark's enthusiasm and style of teaching. The Music Workshop conducts annual performances for parents and friends so we can see the progress our children have made. My son is now in college and still studies with Mark on breaks and in the summer. Alex belongs to The Jazz Band at Loyola University as well as his own band. He has played professionally for cocktail hours and theater productions. Mark has inspired Alex to continue his music into his adulthood. Mark Weisman is an exemplary teacher and person.

Marla Mase is an extraordinary event planner, creator of party magic and Producer! After having been in the business for a couple of decades and working in so many different venues, types of events, parties and performances, Marla has an incredible team. She’s amassed a phenomenal, devoted group of performers, artists, designers & caterers whom she employs at all her parties, depending on need and skill set. I have worked with Marla on several creative projects and events and had a ball working with her. She is the ultimate professional, but always works in a relaxed, easygoing fashion. She is open to discussion and will always brainstorm to bring ones vision to life. Recently she produced a Rock show and party in Tribeca for me that hosted an amazing band, along with several international actors, dancers and singers. Marla hired one of her designers to transform the old Tribeca firehouse into an underworld of sea creatures and magic. It was spectacular. The food was a beautifully abundant array of hors devours and beverages. Hailing from Tribeca and having worked in the New York area for so many years for hundreds of high-end clients, Marla is truly cutting edge. She has an eye for the unique, and is able to adapt to the vision of her client. Marla really gets the job done. She’s personable and lovely and I always feel I’m in good hands with her at the helm.

To whom it may concern: Jacob Sayraf has been teaching my 10 year-old son Steven the guitar and vocals for over a year and a half now. He has been a wonderful teacher, and my son has made great progress under his tutelage. Before he met Jacob he didn't know how to play the guitar at all. Jacob is also sharing with Stevie a wealth of songs from a broad range of folk, country, rock, pop, and standards. Some of these include: "We'll Meet Again", "Bad Bad Leroy Brown", "Blue Moon of Kentucky", "House of the Rising Sun", "Blue Suede Shoes", "In My Life", "Hot Tamales and Theyr'e Red Hot", and "Don't Worry, Be Happy". Stevie is getting a sound musical education through Jacob. Jacob is doing a great job of not only teaching Stevie the guitar, but also the theory of music behind it. He gives Stevie homework, which Stevie dutifully does. Jacob also goes out of his way to borrow sheet music books from the library so he can lend them to Stevie. Most importantly, Stevie has a lot of fun with Jacob and always looks forward to his next lesson, which to me is a sign of a great teacher. I would definitely recommend Jacob for any teaching position you have. Sincerely, Jeffery Ringle

I follow Nico's gigs as regularly as possible and have been doing so ever since her fledgling days as a singer song-writer. I love her original music as it has captivating melodies and heartfelt lyrics . She is quite tenacious in getting herself "out there" and in so doing, she leaves me breathless with all the things she does to promote her talents at any one time. I like to go with friends to hang out at her various gigs and be entertained by her while casually enjoying good food rather than a cover band with very loud music. Nico is a very talented singer and musician who plays different instruments equally well.

Chanan was a joy to work with! Knowledgeable and skilled and very creative. He helped produce a record of sacred music for me and also provided back up guitar for my band when needed a few times in Dallas. He is an exceptional engineer and guitar player with a fine ear for detail.

Jonathan Kalb has been my guitar teacher now for a little over a half a year and I’m delighted to say, I am much more than pleased with my lessons; I can’t wait until the next one comes…that’s how good. I took lessons previously and was OK with them, but found myself wandering and lacking a sense of ‘commitment’ to the teacher and to my studies. Dry. I’m not a kid anymore and was looking for a teacher who could work with my adult enthusiasm, excitement, my talent, and not be rooted to teaching me the pentatonic scales in all keys before we could get to some playing and having some fun, too... I was hoping for a teacher who could personalize his teaching skills, and for me, Jonathan came through with flying colors. He’s so much more than a “One Size Fits All” teacher; he’s a real person – reachable, able to identify my needs, my strengths and weaknesses, and takes this into full consideration during our lessons. He’s an experienced, talented teacher. Simple. He’s a person that really knows his stuff from musical theory to the many styles of playing, i.e., blues, jazz, folk, country and even rock; he can play and more importantly – he can teach um all! I’m an aspiring singer/songwriter and in addition to helping me define those strange chords I’m playing, he inspires me to ‘grow on.’ Oh, and one more thing: If your lesson is an hour long and there’s something important happening, he won’t cut you off - he’ll take the extra time needed to get you to the end of ‘the measure,’ comfortably.

John is a talented musician and amazing person. My 14 year old daughter and I have taken almost 10 lessons together. John is very patient and makes every lesson fun. We are very lucky to have found him. He is definitely the best choice in guitar teachers.(Tom Callari). John is very easy going and very accommodating to our hectic schedule. He always finds a way to make time for us. I have fun at every lesson. (Sophia Callari)

I've been at several events where Carol and her band have performed. Each time, she sang a mix of jazz and blues, and she and the band sounded and looked great! The musicians who play with her are really professional. I also noticed Carol is very organized and she kept the evening moving and the crowd was happy. I'd highly recommend hiring her and the band for any event where you want your guests to have a terrific time!

Arthur is an excellent, very well-rounded, guitar instructor. He is very knowledgeable in quite a few aspects of guitar playing - from music theory, playing different styles, transcribing, to all the guitar gear and technology stuff. He has a nice studio, and is also very accuracy oriented, which I really like. I'm into learning to play the blues, rock and metal, and Arthur has been really helpful with that. Highly recommended!

Hired Anthem for a birthday party and it went great. They sound exactly like the bands they cover and put on a great show. They're pro, no goofy embarrassing talk between songs and the price was right. The sound was great and they DJ'd during the breaks. Would definitely rehire. Thanks guys!
