- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
You'll get more than just makeup and hair on your wedding day-- you get your own personal beauty expert to help create and capture the perfect look for you, taking into account your style, vision, and specific hair & skin needs, so that you're obsessed with the process start to finish. Our pricing includes makeup and hair services, phone and email consultations, unlimited contact with Mary-Ashanti, skin care advice, planning and scheduling. To do this, each client (depending on preferences) exchanges about 50 emails, phone calls or texts with us throughout the planning process.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process always starts out with a phone consultation. During the phone consultation we set up an in person preview date and discuss any questions the client may have. I like to answer questions over the phone vs email because that way I can get to know the client, offer my expertise as we design their experience and answer all of their questions! Next we meet for the preview, collaborate on a gorgeous look & after that is the big event!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have both my cosmetology and beauty education license. I have also had years of private training by many other celebrity stylists as well as famous brands such as NBR, Wella, Kerastase, Matrix etc.
