Mr. Phillips has helped me with learning all the songs I have wanted. He is an expert in guitar theory which many teachers I find are not. After only a few months of lessons, I have been able to play most songs handed to me and write some of my own. Scheduling has been incredibly flexible. I would very much recommend this teacher.

My 13 year old son has taken lessons for going on 2 years. My husband and I are very happy with his playing, both acoustic and electric guitar. Philip Roberts has taught him to read music and play different styles. Mr. Roberts has been such an encouraging teacher, not only sharing his knowledge, but taking a real interest in what my son experiments with at home. Whenever my son leaves his lesson he has a smile on his face and he talks with satisfaction and pride in his voice of what he and Mr. Roberts accomplished during the lesson. I know he feels that Mr. Roberts is more than just a teacher, but a friend.
