Introduction: Since I accept limited assignments, I concentrate my full attention on one client at a time. I do not batch process my images, but, devote the necessary time to optimize & enhance each image individually for the best results possible. I enjoy many aspects of running my own photography business, but, most importantly, is that I love having the opportunity to help make wonderful memories for my clients that they will enjoy for a lifetime. I love color, beautiful light, emotions & relationships, which forms the basis of my photographic style.

I needed a portrait taken for a book jacket. The equipment was all set up so that we were ready to shoot immediately. I was able to look at each photo after it was shot. When I was satisfied and did not want any more shots taken, we went to the computer and together we looked at each one. Ginny is technically proficient. She examines each shot carefully and can retouch and improve the quality even in spots where I had not noticed any problem. Ginny has a good eye for composition and is creative, offering suggestions on how to pose. She is personable and collaborative, easy to talk to. She was able to grasp the concept I had in mind quickly and did not try to talk me out of it. The photos were shot on Sat. and I picked up the finished file on Tues. I asked for JPEG files and she gave me both JPEG and TIFF files. She gives more than you ask and she leaves the door open. Any problems or change of heart she said, call me and come back. Great experience. I usually feel self conscious in front of a camera, but I did not feel self conscious with Ginny.

Ginny is a one-of-a-kind photographer. Her photography work creates everlasting pictures that will make you want to look over them again and again. I have had the pleasure of working with Ginny on my engagement and family photos, and I find myself constantly going back to them on the computer just to look at them to embrace the memories and the beauty of those days and how much the meant to me. Ginny really helps extenuate those feelings, and she brings true meaning to each photo. Not only is she a great photographer, but also a genuine, warm-hearted, caring person, who is patient, easy to work with, will accommodate any preference or needs, and takes her time in making sure the photos are just the way you like them, because she wants the client to be happy! I will definitely be calling Ginny again to capture future memories that I can remember forever, and let the picture embody the pureness of that day and let the photographs speak for themselves.

Reaching out to Perception Images was one of the best decisions, I have ever made. I was looking to have some head shots done and was dreading the process, as I am not very photogenic. Ginny from Perception Images did an absolutely wonderful job with the my portraits. I wanted a head shot but received portraits of the highest quality. I consistently receive compliments on these portraits. Ginny knew the exact position you should sit/lean so your best features are displayed. She was very professional and courteous. It was very obvious by the time in which Ginny took with both my photo shoot and editing she is building long term repeat business. I look forward to our next session. My pricing is competitive, & I will provide clients my Pricing Schedule upon request.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I provide Guidelines for new customers, depending on what kind of photography they're looking for. I also discuss with the client(s) what their ideas are for the shoot, to ensure their goals will be satisfied, as well as provide suggestions & direction, especially if they are unsure about what they want or what to expect.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I read everything I can to stay informed, I belong to the National Association of Photoshop Users (NAPP), attend seminars, am a member of a local photographic organization, & participate regularly in online Webinars to stay current.
