So far we’ve had a handful of singing lessons and my daughter loves the teacher.
I'm really learning a lot with Viky. She has the fundamentals down and is able to teach them. I'm really enjoying the lessons
She is just want my granddaughter needs. Professional, sense of humor, a great teacher! My granddaughter left her with a smile on her face and is always looking forward to returning for her lessons. We are grateful to have found her...👍👍
This class will change your life. Whether you are an actor, a director, a writer, an artist, or simply a human wanting to have greater access to emotional depth this class is a profound experience. This is not your typical acting class, but a part of a spiritual journey where Deborah is a shaman who guides you to your best work.
Before my lessons with Katryna, the only singing I've allowed myself was in my shower! She is an amazing teacher, who told me how to find and control my voice. Now I am planning to record a song as an anniversary present for my husband :) So whether you have high or low skills level I'd recommend Katryna for you 100%. Not only an experience teacher, but also a great person!
Acting for opera singers is Marc Verzatt. One of the best to work with and more importantly, a great human being!
I tried acting for the first time with Gregory. I had no experience. Gregory met with me one-on-one to explain the method he teaches. I couldn't wait to start. It's been 10 classes since then, and I'm hooked! Gregory is a fantastic teacher. He is intuitive and knows how to help you reach your potential. He creates a safe space to explore and experience acting. His teachings resonate both in and out of the classroom. He facilitates a professional learning environment that is positive, supportive, and fun!
Julie is a very responsible teacher. My son enjoys the lessons with her and learn a lot from her. I highly recommend her.
Rachel is one of the most extraordinary song/scene coaches I have ever met. She sees between the lines and lyrics to the heart of the piece you're working on, and combines that with the text and given circumstances to bring an honest, unique, sparkling life to material. She is also organized, prepped, and professional beyond belief, so you can accomplish an insane amount of work with her in the course of one sitting. And on top of that she is one of the kindest souls in NYC, and has this unbelievable ability to make every single person she works with feel truly special. In short, she is amazing, and if you're looking for the world' best coach you can stop looking cause you've found her!
My Child Desperately needed acting lessons for her audition and Natalia at Be Your Craft- saved the day :-) !!!
I studied with Josh a few times to prepare for an audition which consisted in two contrasting monologues. Josh provided very direct feedback which I appreciated. He was also able to help me tweak a few things so I could land more. I highly recommend his valuable help and insightful comments.
Shannon is a very gifted acting coach. She helped me book and AMC show from a self-tape, an episode of a half-hour comedy on TV Land and to get a call back to a producer session for a guest starring role on CBS. She gives individual attention and has never coached me by rote. She truly works with the actor in front of her. In the many times I’ve gone to her, she’s taken her time, worked with me until I felt comfortable and confident, and by the end, made it all feel so simple and clear that once I walked through the audition room door I was at ease in my talent, my moment-to-moment work, and the story that the writers needed to see to know that I could do the job. She, quite naturally, helped me to get to the point where I could just bring myself without the worry of what to do or not to do. She also served as my vocal coach on the most recent production I directed and was able to guide the cast to decisions and choices that they were struggling with, creating a decisive and clear line of action with each actor. She works well with individuals and groups. I’d gladly recommend her to any actor with a big audition coming up or to any actor just looking to develop their on-camera acting skill. -Carter Gill
Wendy worked with my daughter for a year and was phenomenal!!! She taught her how to focus and articulate emotion into her dialogues and so much more. My daughter absorbed everything Wendy taught her and loved implementing it on her auditions. Wendy makes it fun and exciting as well as keeping it stress-free. She is truly an OUTSTANDING & PROFESSIONAL person. Thank you Wendy!!!
As a coach, Paul is a master at creating a full character within the minimal amount of material you are usually given for an audition. He helps you discover how the character moves, how they speak, how they carry themselves, what they want and how they are going to get it. He encourages and helps you make strong and interesting choices. With the work you do in his coaching, you walk into the room with the confidence you need to book the job.
I've been taking vocal lessons with Allie Trimm for about 10 months now and it has truly made all the difference. Not only has she helped me with my pitch, belting, and mixing, but she has really instilled in me the confidence I need before an audition. Since working with her the number of callbacks and bookings I've gotten have significantly increased. Allie's professionalism, talent, and overall positive energy are everything I was looking for in a vocal coach. I highly recommend!
