I have been working with Phil Nicolaou for over a year now and have seen wonderful results. Phil's education and extensive certifications in his field certainly parlays into his training sessions. He is a caring and challenging trainer. He is as invested in my satisfaction and seeing results as much as I am. The workouts are always different; he uses a variety of workout equipment- all the while strengthening my cardiovascular health and my trouble areas. Phil knows how to get me beyond my comfort zone and challenges me to push myself harder each and every time. Phil maintains a professional attitude but is also FUN! I'd never want to work this hard if there wasn't an element of fun in it. For anyone reading this- I can't recommend Phil enough as a personal trainer; if you are looking to make a change in your life and have the best trainer guiding you along the way call Phil now!
I’ve been meeting with Andre for personal training sessions for over a year. Not only have I noticed changes in my appearance (lost approx 20 lbs, lost inches, and toned up), but my physical capabilities have vastly improved too! I give all the credit to Andre for being such a great trainer. He’s extremely motivating and encouraging. I can sometime slack if we don’t schedule appointments in advance, but I can always count on him to follow up to make sure I get my workout in with him. If you want a great trainer that offers encouragement and will get you results but doesn’t yell i at you like a drill sergeant then Andre’s the man for the job!!
I recently started training with Carlos and hes exceeded all my expectations. Ive been training for over 20 years and am in pretty good shape, but wanted to get my body to the next level. Since I never worked with a trainer before, I was not sure what to expect. Carlos is truly amazing and I mean it! He has a terrific demeanor, exceptional motivator, inspiring and has innovative approaches to driving results. In a short period of time, he has taught me creative methods to shocking my body. Additionally, he provides guidelines for clean eating along with a training regimen you can do when youre not with him, to keep the momentum going. I really believe what sets him apart from other trainers is that he genuinely cares During one of my workouts, I arrived on an empty stomach and immediately, he brought me a protein shake to ensure I was properly fueled up for a hardcore workout!! He wont EVER let you give up and does an excellent job at picking you up, when you are down. I would LOVE to train with him Forever & Ever, because, YES, hes that GOOD! I have been training with Doug for two years, and I highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a personal trainer. When I first started training with Doug, I was recovering from a torn ACL. Doug helped me in my recovery process and got me back to feeling better then before the injury even happened. He took time to get to know what my goals were and always checks in to see if my goals have changed. I now keep a food journal, go over it with Doug, and he helps me make healthy changes in my diet. I look forward to our training sessions because I know that I will be pushed to work hard and will also have fun. I love the boxing sessions that we get to do as well as the agility work that Doug has gotten me back into. When I'm at the gym and not training with Doug, I always make sure to share my successes with him because I know he will be excited about what I have accomplished. I'm not sure if I would be the athlete I am today if it wasn't for Doug. His motivation and dedication to helping me reach my goals is greatly appreciated.
My husband and I have been training with Rob for the past few months. My husband who was very skeptical of having a personal trainer at first now loves our training sessions with Rob. He does an amazing job working with us both in our sessions, and teaching us workouts we can also do on our own time. I know that we would never have achieved the level of fitness and wellness without his personal attention given in our training sessions. Rob is always very encouraging and has a vast knowledge of his profession. I would recommend Rob in a heartbeat if you are looking for great personal trainer. I aim to continue to train and maintain a good level of fitness with his help for a long time to come.
I've been working out using various fitness programs available for purchase (e.g. Insanity, P90X, Les Mills) for a few years and thought I knew a lot about how to work out. When I tried to put something together on my own, I quickly found out how wrong I was! I did know a lot of exercises, but putting them together into a program that fit what I was trying to achieve just wasn't happening. I was so lucky to have found Dancer for Life. After a brief fit test and interview, she put together a program for me that was perfect for my goals. I wanted to improve my strength and lean out my physique. I saw results on the first part pretty quickly with her guidance and encouragment. She also helped me realize that the leaning out part takes time, but I am seeing great results there too. I would have totally messed up ( and probably given up) without her as a trainer. If you are looking for someone who can help you with YOUR fitness goals and not some cookie-cutter approach, Dancer is the one for you. She is certainly my permanent trainer!
Ed is a master of physiology and nutrition. He understands how the body works and needs to be fueled in order to stay fit. Each training session with Ed is different from the next and extremely valuable. Overall, he is passionate what he does and the results show!
We hired Thomas to provide in home personal training for my brother, who is in the early stage of Parkinson's disease. After only a few sessions, my brother is feeling stronger. Thomas has designed a program to increase his balance, flexibility and strength, doing various exercises that are fun yet challenging. Best of all, my brother no longer feels helpless towards this disease, and his doctors have told him Thomas' personal training program is as powerful as any medication they could give him. Wes is a GREAT trainer...and I’ve had a few, so I know. He’s friendly, punctual, responsive and really knows how to train and motivate you. He watches you throughout your sessions and adjusts as needed. He talks to you throughout, both about your workout, but also creates a fun atmosphere with good conversation so you’re not bored. He’s just an overall nice guy who is worth his weight in gold. Thank you, Wes, for a quality experience.
Very knowledgeable about the type of workouts to fit my requirements . The workout plans for each session were not routine but planned very well to meet my desired goals . Exercises are really effective and will continue attending training sessions .
I was never good at working out. I decided to get a personal trainer and Keri Lynn was the lucky person to whip me into shape. She is persistent and very well versed at getting people in shape. I went from 280 with no gym training to 200 in the best shape of my life under her instruction. She helped me learn to eat right and now I can run 3 miles non stop. I'd recommend anyone be it first timers or seasoned athletes use Keri Lynn to help you reach your goals.
Mike is a terrific trainer- Extremely knowledgable about all aspects of his work, he is a pleasure to work with and always professional in his manner. Several times I had shoulder problems that Mike resolved through careful and methodical work in his training with me- better than the physical therapists I had used. I just had several procedures on torn tendons on my knee and when they are healed look forward soon to working with Mike to rebuild the strength in both knees and legs. That is how much I trust his work. You cannot go wrong with Mike --he has my highest recommendation!!

I had the pleasure of working with Tiare. When it comes to someone to help you get fit he is the right guy to go to. Before he even gives you any feedback about what is it that you need to do, he makes you fill out a form about your goals and what is it that you want to work on. I believe that’s a good way to get to know someone and he was able to see where my mind is as far as what i want and where i am at with my fitness life.Once he read my paper work which i known he did because he gave me great feedback which proves he takes time to get to know you before getting to know (if that makes sense). He is definitely a pusher once he sees that you are really insterested and very consistent. He follows up with you to see if you are doing your part and motivates you. He definitely does this because he loves it and wants to help people not just about the money. I will definitely recommend training with Tiare if you want to change your health and gym life.
So I know my way around a gym and have achieved fitness objectives in the past. The picture I’ve attached is me 20 years ago. I’m on a mission to get back to this shape. My best results have been achieved with the assistance of a personal trainer. I’ve had excellent trainers in the past but that required a selection process. I would watch the trainers at my gym work. I would observe their attitude, intensity and work ethic. In time one would stand apart as the best in the gym and then I would secure that trainer because I had high goals and that required a skilled professional. At the time I was at the CLUB METRO Gym in Phillipsburg. I made my selection but the gym moved to a new location and I didn’t like the new location and changed gyms. I’m getting to the point so just hang in there a bit longer. That was 2 years ago- so now I’m looking for a trainer again but nobody stands out in either of the 2 gyms I use. I went to another gym where the training manager layed out my options based on 25 minute training sessions with a variety of packages that did not appeal to me. Not to mention I hadn’t seen any of their trainers in action and 25 min sessions isn’t gonna work for me. I need high intensity training for at least 45-60 minutes. What to do? Finally I just googled “freelance trainers” and boom THUMBTACK pops up listing 5 options. BD FITNESS stood out to me and I went to their Facebook page. I watched a vid of the owner of this fitness studio give a tour of his training facility and the second I saw him I recognized him as the trainer I had selected at The Club Metro two years ago. I was instantly fired up and immediately contacted BRANDON DELGADO and met with him at his facility. I wanted 3 sessions a week- an hour each- Mon/Wed/Fri 10:00-11:00am. He was booked at those times but set me up with his associate DONNY RUNRILL. I’ve had 3 sessions with Donny and the training has been superb. I’ve already learned much and have no doubt that as long as I put in the work and follow the nutrition plan DONNY will get me to my fitness objective. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BD FITNESS Here’s the other bonus. Because this is a private fitness studio you and your trainer won’t have to navigate the obstacles of a busy gym. The most crowded it can get is if both Brandon and Donny are training clients at the same time which is incredibly freeing. I haven’t even mentioned the pricing. Not only am I getting superior training at an outstanding faculty. I’m also getting a great price. It’s win win win.......... I know it sounds like I’m a friend or family member but I’ve never conversed with either Brandon or Donny until a few days ago. I’m just that impressed!
I have had the pleasure of working with Robin Hrin as my personal trainer for 5 years. I have found that Robin is extremely knowledgeable of the function and benefit of all the exercises and stretching postures that are part of my workouts. She always makes sure that each session is a balanced workout of opposing muscle groups, and includes both strength and aerobic training in each session. Most of all Robin is a pleasure to work with, and I greatly enjoy our sessions. I highly recommend Robin as a personal trainer.
Jonathan is a certified personal trainer who has been very dedicated to all his clients. He is very knowledgable about personal training techniques, and even created his own suspension equipment and exercises. Very important, he is a honest and genuinely great human being.
today was my first day which was a complementary, workout. however once the workout was over i knew immediately this was the type of trainer/training that will help me accomplish my goal. If the next 3 months are anything like the first day, i will surpass goal with no problem. Jake is not only the owner and great trainer he also keeps the workout from getting stale which is perfect.
