I use 2 pet sitters. Dawn Collins is one. She is dependable and very caring. She loves all creatures: dogs, cats, birds, etc. Knows how to handle them in an emergency, and has instantaneous rapport with cats and dogs. She is highly ethical, and she comes from a family of animal lovers. No recommendation could be high enough.

Meet with the pet caregiver **first**. How does the person treat your pet? Is the caregiver paying attention to your pet or trying to "sell" you on their services? Is the caregiver asking questions about your pet's needs, preferences, medical history, current vet? I ask that all my clients complete a medical history and the name of their vet so I can be certain that I am informed in advance of any issues for which I should be on the lookout.
