- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
L☼☼K ☼☼ I offer ONE initial 30 minute lesson for FREE to all PROSPECTIVE new students! ☼☼ ► Single online lesson $30.00 ►Single in-person lessons $50.00 at your home or place of choosing ►Package 1 ~ Four online lessons $115.00 ( A $5 SAVINGS) ►Package 2 ~ Four in-person lessons $195.00 (A $5 SAVINGS ) ► I live 10 minutes south of Princeton, NJ ► Hourly rate includes all photocopies, activities, personalized lesson planning and travel to your home or a place of your choosing (within 20 miles from my home in zip code 08619). Additional fees may apply for travel over 20 miles.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I ask about previous experiences they have had with the English language. I ask students to speak about their preferred leaning styles and state their language goals. In response, I prepare a variety of activities which are thorough and rigorous and that relate directly to what my students are studying. These carefully selected activities are intended to reinforce what students are currently learning and to globally enhance their language skills.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a New Jersey K-12 ESL Certification. I have been a private ESL tutor for ten years. I currently teach ESL to the Haitian community and volunteer for Literacy NJ. I have eight years of experience teaching ESL in New Jersey public schools. I have taught ESL abroad in Southern France. I was awarded a Fulbright via The Classroom Teacher Exchange Program from The United States Department of State in 2011. I have created over 5000 activities, lessons and assessments to fit the needs and goals of every individual student.
