Introduction: My work stands out because I approach every project as if I were working on my own house. Working all over the South Jersey area we get a change of scenery that many people don't have the opportunity to see in their daily work. Meeting new clients and making new friends.

The craftmanship is excellent. Unfortunately, the scheduling was unpreditable.

It was a very lucky day in my ocean city life when I met Justin Carr (Build Enterprises). He is a gentleman, courteous, and most dedicated worker. Not only did he do a great job on my fiberglass railings and floor, he also completed a whole new boardwalk in front of my home. In addition, he is always there for me when I need him. I have rated him “Outstanding” in service and you will do so if you hire him. I will always refer to him as a “Keeper”.

Justin remodeled our kitchen and built an outdoor deck out from the kitchen. Challenges of an old home included the 75-year-old uneven flooring and tight space. He designed and built the perfect solution to our needs. The whole project was a pleasure for us: we could trust him to carry it out while we were out of town, to return for tweaking and changes until we were satisfied. Anyone hiring B.U.I.L.D can look forward to fine workmanship, a great finished product, and a good overall experience. We cannot recommend a better general contractor in the area (and we had tried others!).

Justin is great. Excellent work, fair prices, neat and efficient. Knows when to do stuff that needs to be done and does not ask about every little thing - and does not nickel and dime you for stuff. And knows when to consult with you over the more significant stuff that will run into more money. He does not "sell" you on unneeded work. We have used him for multiple projects at our house at the beach and plan to use him again.

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Many product manufacturers offer online educational courses pertaining to their products. There are also trade shows every year around the country that offer continuing education regarding new products, installation methods, etc. We have certifications in several product categories including low-maintenance decking and rails, vinyl and fiber cement siding and asphalt shingle roofing.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

We build quite a few decks every year, as well as kitchen and bathroom remodels. Replacement windows and doors are a popular item as well. Exterior trim and siding are in demand right now.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

When looking for a contractor, always make sure you check the following: 1. State License particular to their field of expertise 2. Proof of General Liability and Workmen's Comp Insurance. General Liability will pay for damages to your property by contractor, Workmen's Comp will pay for injuries to contractor and employees. If an uninsured contractor causes damage or personal injury, they will usually go after your homeowners' insurance to pay the bill. 3. Check references! Get a list of at least 10 or 12 previous customers and call several of them. The best advice comes from past customers.
