I first met Marie when I was looking for a trainer to help me get in shape for the police academy. I was never a runner, but in about 6 months, Marie whipped me into shape. Since then, for the past 8 years, I've trained off and on with Marie (depending on what my schedule allowed). Marie always makes our training sessions fun and different. You never really know what she has in store for you before you get there. Marie has always taken into account my own level of fitness as well as others who have joined in group sessions. She never pushes us further than what we can handle, but always encourages us to go just a little more than we did the last time. My favorite workouts are Bleacher Bootcamp days, where she mixes running with assorted strength training exercises. Your muscles don't know what hit them!
I have been working with Phil Nicolaou for over a year now and have seen wonderful results. Phil's education and extensive certifications in his field certainly parlays into his training sessions. He is a caring and challenging trainer. He is as invested in my satisfaction and seeing results as much as I am. The workouts are always different; he uses a variety of workout equipment- all the while strengthening my cardiovascular health and my trouble areas. Phil knows how to get me beyond my comfort zone and challenges me to push myself harder each and every time. Phil maintains a professional attitude but is also FUN! I'd never want to work this hard if there wasn't an element of fun in it. I've been working out using various fitness programs available for purchase (e.g. Insanity, P90X, Les Mills) for a few years and thought I knew a lot about how to work out. When I tried to put something together on my own, I quickly found out how wrong I was! I did know a lot of exercises, but putting them together into a program that fit what I was trying to achieve just wasn't happening. I was so lucky to have found Dancer for Life. After a brief fit test and interview, she put together a program for me that was perfect for my goals. I wanted to improve my strength and lean out my physique. I saw results on the first part pretty quickly with her guidance and encouragment. She also helped me realize that the leaning out part takes time, but I am seeing great results there too. I would have totally messed up ( and probably given up) without her as a trainer. If you are looking for someone who can help you with YOUR fitness goals and not some cookie-cutter approach, Dancer is the one for you. She is certainly my permanent trainer!

Very knowledgeable about the type of workouts to fit my requirements . The workout plans for each session were not routine but planned very well to meet my desired goals . Exercises are really effective and will continue attending training sessions .
I had the pleasure of working with Tav in both group and one and one sessions. He is both experienced & committed to helping reach and exceed all possible fitness goals. I started with Tav training once a week, as part of a group class, and really enjoyed the variety and challenges he put into each class. Every week was different, from circuit training to hiit intervals, weights and much more. I was also able to have personal one-on-one session as well! They were equally challenging yet somehow fun and a good variety of exercises. He is supportive and encourages you in a positive way to help achieve all goals that were set. Working with Tav, my fitness has increased noticeably and I’ve seen improvements in my ability to complete more sit ups / core exercises, lift progressively heavier weights and generally push myself harder throughout each session. I find I actually look forward to my workouts with him. Most Importantly: He alway made sure that my technique was correct to avoid any injuries and provided tips and ideas on how to continue to challenge myself. He is reliable and is always ready to start training ahead of time, with an exercise routine planned out for that session. I would have no hesitation in recommending Tav as your personal trainer if you want to achieve your fitness and health goals. He is one of the best!
My son participated in youth track under Coach Barr for several years in addition to several periods of individualized training sessions. Under his dedicated guidance and knowledgeable instruction my son consistently placed well in the regional track meets and was selected to run for the varsity squad in his freshman year of High School. My son credits coach Barr's encouraging personality and positive style of training for much of his success. As a parent I was very grateful for Keith's patient personality along with his expert coaching.

Mike is a terrific trainer- Extremely knowledgable about all aspects of his work, he is a pleasure to work with and always professional in his manner. Several times I had shoulder problems that Mike resolved through careful and methodical work in his training with me- better than the physical therapists I had used. I just had several procedures on torn tendons on my knee and when they are healed look forward soon to working with Mike to rebuild the strength in both knees and legs. That is how much I trust his work. You cannot go wrong with Mike --he has my highest recommendation!!
Reuben is the absolute best! Not only is he an amazing personal trainer, but an equally great human being. Reuben is so down to earth, easy to work with - no matter what fitness level, and has the ability to push you in a non-threatening way to make sure you reach your full potential. I first met Reuben when I got engaged in 2013. He helped me get in the best shape - wedding dress ready :) - in just less than a year. But I honestly felt a huge difference in my strength, endurance, and weight loss after just a few sessions. Reuben listened and helped me focus on certain areas that were important for me - like my arms and stomach. Reuben also connected me with other women who were at similar fitness levels as me, and we started group training sessions that we have continued to this day. I honestly thought I would stop training after my wedding day, but Reuben's positive and motivating spirit, along with the friendships I made in our group sessions, made me want to continue. Steve was our personal trainer for nearly a year. We were referred to him by a physical therapist as a way to strengthen and reduce pain in my fiance's back. Steve's emphasis on form and proper training technique significantly improved his back pain (when nothing else seemed to be working!), while simultaneously helping him to strengthen his back and surrounding muscles. We had a fantastic experience with Steve - he was professional, knowledgeable and developed personalized workouts that were customized to our ability and fitness goals. I hired mine to work with my 13 year old son who wanted to improve his strength, endurance, and power for the sport he plays. From day one mike has treated my son like family. He is always on time, workouts are always different and challenging to my son. The best sign of a review I can give is the fact that I have hired him for another set of sessions so my son can continue to benefit from his workouts. Ken is always accommodating with schedules and always on time. He values your time and is always prepared with various types of exercises based on what you’re goal is.
