Introduction: Skool Dogs Inc. began and continues to train canine to put in our schools to protect our children. When we are not training our speciality canines we are training police canines and civilian canines and their handlers to be better dogs. Our leadership team has nearly 100 years in Law Enforcement, Corrections, Military, and Private Security Experience with more than 60 of those years handling and training canine teams.

Emily has been wonderful. She has truly helped train us for each of our dogs individual needs. Otis and Nelson absolutely adore her and can’t contain their excitement when she arrives. They are very grateful for her assistance with training us so we understand how to properly communicate with them. Emily is attentive to our questions and needs. She gives excellent explanations of dog behaviors and clear precise directions for us to follow. Her notes and videos are also valuable. We never feel rushed during the lessons and appreciate the feedback as we work with her. We have already recommended Skool Dogs to 2 families that we knew needed help with their own pups. Thank you!

We immediately trusted Emily when we first met her to guide our dog through training! She was very friendly, informed, and professional!! She explained everything so simply that training our pup just seemed intuitive. Always on time and ready to go when she arrives!!

I had a great experience with Skool Dogs. The staff was kind and respectful with both my dog (Buddy) and myself. All the contact we had by Email was quick and had all the information I was asking for. The facility was clean and Buddy love it there. I will be returning for more training in the near future. I would recommend Skool Dogs to anyone looking to do some training with their dog.

I have a 6 months old GSD in need of obedience training and I myself, as a new dog owner, need training on how to raise a successful dog. After several 'hiccups' with various local dog trainers, I found Skool Dogs, Inc. Its over an hour ride for us from PA, but it's definitely worth the time. Matt did initial evaluation and defined a clear, easy to understand plan of training for Reggie. We had our first private lesson yesterday and I am very impressed and happy how well it went. Matt's approach is very effective and straightforward. We saw immediate results in how Reggie responded during our first class. Matt has an extensive knowledge and experience with dogs, and specifically with GSDs. He takes his time to answer questions and to explain dog behavior that is very important for us as new owners. We look forward to working with Matt. He is great!

I came to Skool Dogs looking for help with some aggressive/reactive behaviors Ronnie was showing towards other dogs. After just our evaluation with Emily, I was already seeing some changes in his behavior and how attentive he was to me. I had hired a dog trainer in the past and I was horribly disappointed, so I was initially wary of going to a new trainer, but working with Skool Dogs is probably the best decision I’ve made for Ronnie and I. I’ve had one official lesson with them so far and Ron is already doing exponentially better when he sees other dogs. I’m excited to see what the rest of our lessons will teach us :)

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When we conduct civilian training we recommend coming to our facility or is coming to your home for an evaluation. During our evaluation we will talk to you and understand the issues, concerns and goals you have for your canine.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our training team have been working with canines for over 100 years in the police and civilian sector. We have been to numerous schools and national recognized certifications.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
All of our trainers come to us via different backgrounds and training. Many instructors are active or retired law enforcement officers.
