"Tia was great at what she does and is certainly qualified to give a great massage. It was a gift for my wife and she found it very nice and for the most part relaxing. Tia definitely paid attention to her needs and helped relieve the stress.
My only couple minor complaints were with professionalism. We had to provide our own set of sheets for the table, which is something I think the masseuse should already come prepared with. Also, she played music through her phone through Pandora or something that had advertisements between songs and kind of kill the relaxation of the music, she didn't bring her own stool or something to sit on so we had to provide her with one(not that big of a deal, but still not something we were prepared to need or need at an actual spa) and she took two phone calls during the massage. Sure, she was only on the phone for 5 minutes each call but it kind of kills the mood for those ten minutes. We also had to lend her our houseline because the cell service was bad. The phone would ring while the music was playing since she was using that as her music device. I would suggest putting the calls on silent for the 90 mins. I just thought the phone calls should have waited until after the massage was done and the 90 mins should not begin until the massage begins. Instead, it started the moment she walked in the door and before everything was set up.
However, please don't read this as a totally negative review. She is INCREDIBLY sweet and friendly and had a good conversation. She was very nice to the both of us upon arrival and again, she is very good at her actual job and gives a great massage, which is most important. It was just some of these little things that could have been improved and should not occur during client time. Overall, I would use her again. I can get over needing our own sheets but would recommend ahead with no phone calls during the massage and to come fully prepared next time and include music without commercials. The two things just through off the relaxation a little bit. I would also recommend that she invests in a pillow to put under the legs and neck of the customer instead of having them use their own robe. These are inexpensive items that should be a regular part of her services. Overall, much more positive than negative but just a little constructive criticism about the few things that disrupted the relaxation part a little bit for my wife."
