Introduction: I believe that yoga is for everyone of all shapes and sizes. I have taught the elderly in wheel chairs to increase mobility and strength. I have also taught athletes to increase their flexibility and strength. I absolutely love teaching yoga whether I work more in the meditative state or teach mostly the asanas, it is as rewarding to me as it is too the students. I teach a variety of classes having such a large span of flexibility between each client. I am certified to teach Vinyasa, Hot 26, Gentle, Hip Opener, Restorative, Chair, Children's yoga and Prenatal. I tend to teach more often than not hip openers/opening the hamstrings and thighs for many clients. Although I am always up for the challenge too teach a vinyasa or slow down a little bit and teach a gentle class. Namaste

I'm feeling conflicted about writing this review, for fear that my beloved yoga teacher's schedule will be booked solid! However, I'm happy to broadcast my gratitude for Meg, in hopes that other yogis (or soon-to-be yogis) will be blessed to know her, too. My family and I take classes with Meg three times a week. Two days a week, my sister and I take classes with my mother who has arthritis. I appreciate how Meg paces each class, it’s not too slow nor too fast. Meg caters the session to our individual needs. She modifies certain poses for my mom so she can still obtain the benefits of yoga without experiencing pain. On the third session, my sister and I take class with another family member. Meg challenges us with new poses that I find to greatly increase our strength and flexibility. Meg doesn’t just focus on the physical aspect of yoga, but the meditation side as well. She reminds/teaches us the importance of breathing through our flows to enhance the benefits of yoga practice.

I just started with Meghan and I'm already feeling a huge diff all over my body. Really Amazing! (also very clear and encouraging.) I was a bit afraid before I started as this is my first time trying Yoga, but i was pleasantly surprised and felt comfortable right away.

Having MS makes life difficult everyday. Meg has been my yoga instructor for about a year and a half. She knows exactly what my body needs. She challenges and pushes me to advance my practice every week while still being loving and caring.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    My pricing is $100.00. I will travel to the destination and if I have to travel over 30 minutes (without traffic) to get there, it will be an extra $50.00 charge.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    200 hrs. from the Center for Health and Healing 45 hr. from Blooma taken at Kripalu I am part of the Yoga Alliance, keeping up with my hours & training

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    I started taking yoga after being extremely stressed and out of shape due to a broken leg. I was not quite into the spirituality aspect but it seemed to calm me down and i started to loose weight. About two years later i left for Ireland for a year. I took my practice with me and every moment the sun shined I could be found outside in Warrior I or a Forearm Stand. I knew once I got back to the states that I wanted to learn more about yoga and to teach it to others. I completed a 200 hr Teacher training at the Center for Health and Healing to start my journey.
