I trained with Katie so that I could learn some new yoga moves and be a little more flexible. What I ended up with was a whole new appreciation for yoga, ballet and even fitness in general. Katie was sweet and understanding the two months we were training together. I'm not a very flexible guy and I wanted to get into yoga since it's a lot better than simple stretching. Two months later, I learned a lot more about yoga then I have ever could going to a yoga studio and I had a blast every single session we had. If you're looking for someone who's as proffesional and passionate with her crafts as she is sweet and understanding. Look no further. 😊

She thoughtfully custom-tailors and plans my workouts in order to help me meet my stated goals, and at the same time she is flexible, as she is both capable and willing to alter the workout “off-the-cuff” as need be if I arrive at a session with a particular ache, pain, or limitation. I see Kelly for both Reiki and Yoga sessions. Her gentle, healing touch during Reiki has helped me to relax during my busy lifestyle. Kelly’s vinyasa flow classes are amazing and follow a consistent upbeat flow. Sometimes at the end of the week I enjoy a great restorative yoga class to help me unwind after the work week. I highly recommend Kelly for both Reiki and Yoga sessions.
Dina came out and did a prenatal yoga session for a baby shower I was hosting. She had attendees ranging from 3 years old to .. well .. much older than 3 ;) . She did an excellent job making sure everyone was able to work through the movements and keep the atmosphere light and friendly which is exactly what we were looking for. Everyone loved the session and was talking about it for the rest of the night.

I had the pleasure of taking a private yoga lesson with Jennifer. She's an amazing teacher. I was very impressed by her experience and knowledge about yoga. She made me feel very comfortable. At the end of the session I felt very relaxed. She taught me many poses to help with my back pain. I will be taking more sessions with her.
Working with Meredith has been an absolute delight. Equally at home blasting Beyonce or taking it easy with a more spiritual, meditative soundtrack, my knowledge of yoga has grown exponentially in only a few sessions. I feel challenged, but never out of my league, tackling a wide variety of poses and sequences. I recently started a class at work in yoga. Being new to this form of exercise and stretching, I sought out one-on-one lessons with an instructor who could bring quality and control to my movements. This instructor is Alison. Being pre-diabetic, circulation, flexibility, and strength are important to my overall health and ability to do those things that I enjoy doing. Alison brings you into a comfortable and low pressure space where she customizes each lesson to how you're feeling at that moment. Individualized attention has honed my skills and improved my overall peace and composure. I heartily recommend seeing her for her individual attention and care.
Where do I even begin to share how dear Ellie Aaron is. I happened upon a special yoga studio called Savasanna Station where Ellie was a teacher. The studio was in the east village- it has sadly since closed. Students traveled from the West Village, Brooklyn, Upper East Side and Upper West Side to take Ellie's classes. You get what I"m trying to say right? Ellie's classes were worth the travel time! Her warmth, humor, knowledge, care, respect, and love of yoga was infectious. So much so that I took a teacher training program with Ellie. I couldn't get enough of her wisdom, brilliance, and her humbleness. Going to Ellie's classes you would gain deeper understanding of poses, dharma, and most importantly a sense of community in her classes. Plus Ellie sings! Her voice is magical! Sometimes in the final resting pose of Savasanna Ellie would sing in sanskrit. It was like a lullaby for adults- you felt nourished, calm, and very grateful!
Neha is great! She is very personable and definitely one of the best yoga instructors I have ever had. I highly recommend attending one of her classes!
My session with Annette S. was professional and time well spent. She explained the various yoga positions in a clear way. She was confident and made corrections when needed. I felt very comfortable in her class even though I was a beginner. Her modifications were helpful and I would recommend her services.

Sarah is amazing! I've had many Yoga Instructors since hurting my back and she is the best I've worked with. She goes above and beyond for me and I really appreciate it. She knows a lot about yoga and strength training and is always willing to go into details on how and why we are doing a particular exercise. She's also a PT Aide among being a Yoga Instructor and I think the combo of the two works a lot in her and my favor. My body has never felt so good and I've never felt so healthy!!
I have been a yoga student in NYC for several years and Leigh is the first teacher that I have had who has been able to precisely target areas in my body that require more awareness from me during my yoga practice. With each lesson, Leigh, gives me more and more tools to continue to correct my bad habits that have formed over the years and create space and stability in each pose. Tools that I can take with me to other yoga classes and build into my home practice. Leigh is an incredibly dynamic teacher. She incorporates chanting and music into our practice and she has a wealth of knowledge of the Chinese meridian system as it connects to how we use our bodies. Leigh is truly a healer!
I am a yoga beginner and wanted to try a more personalized experience. I was worried that I would not be able to do a lot of the poses but Mackenzie worked at my pace and found poses that worked best for me and my level. She is awesome and I would highly recommend!
My personal yoga session with Hope was exactly what I wanted and needed. She was very responsive to my requests for preferred pace, offering wonderful adjustments in each pose. I was left feeling perfectly stretched, challenged, and refreshed in all the best ways.
