Rachel's Music Therapy

Introduction: Many client's feel music therapy works because it is a creative arts therapy and music is a way we can express ourselves unlike anything else. There have been many studies to show that music helps reach children with autism when words cannot and the music can actually help bring the words out through lyrics of the songs, which can help in speech and language goals. I love my job because not only have I always loved music, but I love seeing the many ways music can help people heal, learn, and discover ways of finding what is already so strong and brilliant within them.
