I have an extensive fitness background. I began studying Pilates over 10 years ago and enrolled in a Comprehensive Full Studio certification program in 2005 -- a total of 480 hours' training. In addition to having my full studio certification including reformer, Cadillac and chair, I have attended numerous Pilates conferences, including the PMA International Educational Conference in 2008; Pilates Rehab Summit in 2009; Physical Mind Institute in Colorado Springs, CO; Balanced Body University Exo Chair Tour 2008; Pilates Arc on the Road 2009; Anatomy in Clay Learning System 2010; and Balance Body University, Denver, CO 2013. I offer Pilates for scoliosis; for golf, tennis and rotational sports; and for lower back pain. I am also certified in the Gyrotonic Expansion System and have completed several courses in the specialized equipment, like jumping -- stretching board and gyrotoner. I am a certified personal trainer and a boot camp instructor through NESTA. I've been trained in YogaFit levels I, II and III, and most recently, I became a TRX instructor. I am also a Reiki master who offers a healing technique based on the principle that the therapist can channel energy into the client by means of touch. I just received my certification as a medical support clinical hypnotherapist through the Hypnotherapy Academy of America, which works in eliminating anxiety, stress cycles, fears and phobias; building self-esteem, pain control, and preparation for childbirth; eliminating migraines; and works with sleep patterns, weight loss and more.
