Real Estate and Architectural Photography
I needed the photos for my real estate listing redone. We reviewed all the existing images and planned the shoot and how we would prepare for it. A week later, we had the shoot. David took great care in making sure his images captured the size and style of each room came up with some interesting angles I hadn't thought possible. He took nice shots of the exterior and interior of our home. He took a few days to process the images and they were available for download within a few days. I would highly recommend David for this kind of work.Jun 24, 2019Verified

David got me in quickly and photos back in a flash.Aug 23, 2018Verified
David did a great job with capturing the fun of my sister and brother-in-laws 50th anniversary dinner. Great candid shots of the little ones and our group photos were perfect. He was patient with getting the kids to focus on “posing” and handled the adults to follow directions easily! Very easy to talk with, understood what I wanted, responded to emails quickly... I would recommend him highly!Jul 11, 2019
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I do my best to offer fair and reasonable market based pricing. My pricing includes all State and local taxes. If you think that my price is too high, it's probably because I misunderstood your requirement - call me and help me understand your project and I'll be happy to revise my price as appropriate.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Whenever possible I like to meet a potential new customer by phone or over coffee to get to know one another, discuss the prospective client's vision for their project, and learn the client's expectations for project success. This is important because I need to know that I'll be able to meet or exceed the client's expectations, and because it takes teamwork between client and photographer to enable a successful photo shoot.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?My Dad was a photographer in Eastman Kodak's Studio, so I grew up in the film days shooting Tri-X film and processing film and photographs in our basement darkroom. After graduating college in 1967, military service and family obligations put a temporary hold on my passion for photography. I re-connected in the digital age as we became "empty nesters", purchased my first DSLR in 1968, and began taking on-line courses where I became aware of the advantage of shooting in Adobe Camera Raw (as opposed to jpeg) and the workflow process for achieving proper white balance, exposure, contrast, saturation, tonal balance, and sharpening with Photoshop. By constantly practicing what I learned and learning new techniques every week I grew more confident in my ability to adjust my camera settings to produce high quality images. I'll never know it all, and at present I'm studying off camera lighting and Photoshop blending techniques - especially as these techniques apply to real estate photography.
