Ralph Clever Working Dogs & Rehabilitation, LLC
Kirsten came to our house several times (without increasing her fee) because she is truly committed to getting us and our dogs behaving properly. She explains things clearly, demonstrates, and coaches my husband and me as we practice being pack leaders. We have four dogs - one a serious problem - and it hasn't been easy, but we are making progress, and we are very grateful for her guidance and support. We highly recommend her to anyone whose dog(s) have behavior problems such as being out-of-control, aggressive, demanding, or frightened.Sep 16, 2016Verified
Excellent instructions for how to manage a large doggie who was fearful of everything. I am grateful for all of the assistance so far and look forward to more training experience.Oct 22, 2015Verified

Q & A
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My prices are pretty simple, and are listed on my website. I do give a Military discount for service dog training.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? We have a conversation about the client's dog(s) first, i.e. any problems they have, or what they like to teach the dog(s), their dog'(s)' history if available etc., then I will offer them solutions to fix the problems, or training options. After this, we make an appointment for the session(s).
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have done continuing education from the day I became a dog trainer, and will be doing this in the future. I have attended seminars, bought tons of books and DVD's, I attended school to get certified, and I help a shelter and rescue group to train dogs to be more adoptable. I have learned the most from my student dogs.
