Introduction: I am a certified teacher with 40 years of experience and hold both Bachelors and Masters degrees in Piano Pedagogy and Performance. Postgraduate studies include jazz, composition, and songwriting. I've had the wonderful good fortune to have studied with some amazing teachers. 30-minute lessons are available for ages 4 - 6 only. Beginning and intermediate students ages 7 and over should take 45-minute lessons. 60-minute lessons are available for advancing students or highly motivated adults. I also offer a group performance class once a month at no extra charge. I am patient and thoroughly enjoy working with students of all ages and levels. My students receive a thorough exposure to theory, style and technique. Traditional & Contemporary. Please feel free to call me at 883-1480. Piano lessons with Ms. Suzanne were amazing! She helped me stay organized and focused without being too strict of difficult with the practice planner and metronome policing. The best thing about taking lessons with Ms. Suzanne is that she always finds pieces that I enjoy, helping em stay motivated and excited about piano for years! Additionally, she teaches all the theory and knowledge required to compose original songs, and will work with students of all ages to put together a piece that they have created from the ground up. Taking lessons with her was one of the highlights of growing up, and has inspired me to keep playing long into the future! Gentle, patient, and yet demanding, Suzanne is a wonderful piano teacher. With her vast experience and her great musical abilities, she has made a significant difference in the lives of each of our three children for the last 11 years, nurturing their love of music and inspiring them to play and even to compose. Suzanne emphasizes not just technique and rhythm, but also ear development. Our family loves Suzanne, we could not have found a better piano teacher!

I could not have asked for a better piano teacher. Not only did I acquire a solid foundation of traditional piano repertoire, theory, scales, chords, sight reading, and the like, but I was also pushed to explore. Being able to foster creativity in a vast array of musical styles and practices is a rare gift because it takes not only heart and encouragement but also the skills and knowledge to share such variety with students. Suzanne exemplifies a perfect balance of the two sides of the musical coin. I can honestly say that I would not be studying to become a music teacher without having her as a model and mentor!

For over 3 years, Suzanne has been our daughter's piano teacher. She has far exceeded our expectations and is exceptionally talented in her ability to teach and develop her students. It is such a rarity to find a teacher of her caliber. Additionally, we have watched all of her students at recitals and competitions and are amazed at the progress and growth as well as their skills and preparedness at such events. Lastly, we deeply appreciate Suzanne's patience and kindness with our daughter who tends to get out of focus easily and difficult to teach. Suzanne is by far the best teacher we have ever worked with. MC
