- What types of customers have you worked with?
I always begin with a detailed intake and assessment of your health history, family history, & current state of health, which takes between 60-90 minutes. I want to gather as much information as I can about you in order to really understand you. I create a personalized diet & lifestyle program, including recommended food lists and a 1-day sample menu of the foods that are best for you. I also create a personalized yoga program. I offer email and phone support for integrating lifestyle changes, and answering any questions that arise. I also do my best to support you in implementing your recommendations and make any necessary adjustments/modifications to your program.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Trust your intuition. Make sure you feel comfortable and supported by the provider. I'm amazed at how many people think of their health care providers as authorities, rather than as collaborators. I want to collaborate with you to create health. I aim to meet you where you are, and work with you from that place. If I make a recommendation and it's something that would be stressful or challenging for you to implement, I want to know that so I can support you, or change my recommendation so it's something that would be easier for you to implement.
