My son and I have had Shirley for several years now and we can't remember having the same meal twice. Shirley's skill goes way just beyond creating scrumptious meals - her repertoire is mind blowing. She draws from an endless source of recipes from all over the world and every one of them is a unique experience. She is bar-none the best chef I've ever known. Shirley prepared meals for me to go on a four day trip. I have multiple food in-tolerances and she came up with an incredible menu. She has an understanding of food allergies and I felt comfortable trusting her to make my food. She was prompt, clean and friendly. My husband and I have several diverse dietary limitations/challenges, and Shirley has mastered them all. When we invite her to cook, about once a month, she submits a menu tailored to those dietary requirements, shops for quality ingredients, and arrives on-time or early on the appointed day. The house is filled with wonderful aromas while she prepares the food, and leaves the kitchen spotless when she finishes. We bless the day we found her, and highly recommend her. The first time I experienced Shirley's food, it was nothing more than simple finger foods at the 2013 Christmas party. Of course, I shouldn't say simple, because there's nothing simple about what Shirley creates. Her creations are as much a feast for the eyes as they are a delight to the palate. From the presentation to the final swallow, everything is perfectly delectable. I've had the pleasure of enjoying breakfasts, brunches, lunches and dinners with Shirley and she has never once failed to surprise me. Five stars just aren't enough.Sep 24, 2015

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?My system is actually very simple. My charges are per meal or per hour, plus the shopping/planning time. The ingredients are always paid by the client.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Besides several classes that I took for raw vegan chef and other classes at the Israeli Institute of Culinary Arts, I have a degree in Nutrition Science from Kaplan University.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I have always been passionate about food. My cooking lessons started around the age of 10 with my aunt and I fell in love with the flavors, textures,aromas of the kitchen ever since. Food for me is not only nutrition for the body but enlightenment for the mind, an exquisite affair of pleasure.
