Introduction: I provide editing services for any and all genres of writing. My editing services cover simple copy edits to deep edits (sentence structure, story sense, continuity, etc.) to book doctoring (close communication with the author to talk, debate and nudge the work to it's best form), ghost writing and copy writing. I have edited fiction and non-fiction for over 20 years and have a wonderful host of satisfied clients - some now good friends! I have a natural talent for seeing how a work should best flow while hearing and respecting the voice and intent of the author. With a 20 plus year career in advertising and marketing I've unraveled some of the most convoluted writings imaginable - from engineering manuals to product instructions. And I love doing it! While my university degree is in anthropology - not english - that is where I began editing. As work/study I organized, edited and polished grad student papers for publication. I found I had the eye to spot compositional flaws and the knack for stepping into a writer's head, hearing their unique voice and seeing their intent to edit within those parameters. My website is geared specifically to e-publishing authors, but my services, skills and experience cover all manuscript formats.
