Guys did a great job. My lawn looks great! They worked around my schedule and were finished in a jiffy.Sep 24, 2018Verified
Adam came in with a great estimate and had intriguing ideas for my yard. His people arrived at 8am and by 5pm it was done. I keep going out to look at my amazing yard. I would definitely recommend using Adam for any work.Jun 24, 2018Verified
Great job with the landscaping. I was amazed at the transformation that occurred. The price was very reasonable compared to others I've researched and asked for estimates. My only concern was the gravel laid out was too thin in some areas easily exposing the fabric and thicker on other parts.Oct 20, 2016Verified
My wife and I picked Adam due to his high ratings on thumbtack (the majority of these high ratings come from yard work not actual landscape). He was quick to come give an estimate on the weekend. Adam told us he could have the job done in a day, 2 at most. Adam wanted to take down our side fence so he could remove and level all the old stuff in the backyard. We let him know this would not be an option as the gate wasn't the best built and thanked him for his estimate and time. He replied with he would do it for the same price and do it all by wheelbarrow and hand. We agreed to this and paid him half down (another mistake). Adam and his crew came out and did the job in one day. We soon realized how the job was able to be completed in one day. Adam and his crew failed to remove any of the old rock and laid the fabric right over everything that was there before. We had a dog run on the side of the house that we also included in the landscape. Adam and his crew took much of the rock and old gravel and leveled the dog run about 5-6 inches higher. As someone who is 6'1, the top of the fence was at my waist. So when Adam had said he would do everything by hand for the same price, he obviously didn't. There are large spots in the yard with nothing but dirt there's not even any new rock in place. I texted Adam the next day to let him know the dog run was a concern and unacceptable. Our dog was able to hop the fence into the neighbors yard because it was so high. He responded and told me he would come remove it for an additional $350. I told him absolutely not that he would need to come fix it. He went on about his precious 5 star rating and that he doesn't do bad business, he came over the following day. Immediately when he showed up he wasted no time in making it known he was unhappy that he had to come back. Right off the bat he told me I was lucky he even showed back up. As we went through the dog run to visually show him that he placed old rock there he began to get argumentative saying all that was already there. I told Adam I didn't care and to remove all the old dirt and rock that he placed there and return it to how it was before. Low and leveled out. Adam still was argumentative and tried to intimidate. He left about 5 minutes after and left his crew there to handle all the work for him. My wife showed up and asked his crew where Adam had gone she would like to speak with him. His crew members said and quote "he's upset he had to leave before any problems happened". This is how this guy conducts business. Very sloppy work and tries to become intimidating and argumentative with a customer. He will come on here and tout his 5 star ratings which all come from yard work but actual landscape work, you could throw a dart at a board and pick someone better. We agreed on cash payment for the work done, if we used card or check Adam would have charged us significantly more in "tax". Tax on our amount would have come out to 320 some dollars and Adam told us tax would be an additional 450 dollars on any work. TL;DR: chose landscaper based off high rating, found out that most of them were from yard work and not actual landscape. Had horrible job done and had to deal with bad business owner. Would not recommend.May 9, 2017VerifiedAdam M.'s reply
Landscape work was done 100% correct and well as me and customer discussed upon completion. Customer paid half when we started and the rest when completed upon approval of the work done . We even did extra stuff to make customer happy . The male customer was upset and very aggressive towards me and my workers over there dog jumping the fence in dog run .my customers wife even got upset at him because he was being very rude . We have never had any issues with any of our customers no matter what type of landscape work we do. We give the best prices and do great work as all my other 115 reviews show and prove . Sometimes some people you can't make happy no matter how good of work you do they will find something to complain about are disagree with. I been in this business for a very long time and take pride In all my work no matter if it's yard clean up are a full back yard landscape project.i have five star reviews in every category I put myself In .no ones ever complained about work we've done like this customer and I can guarantee that I will do everything we gotta do to please my customers with whatever work we do small are large jobs . Every job is treated the same because we like to make sure it's done to the customers liking.Landscaping are yard clean ups... I'm sure this customers wife would say different about this review the husband left .this work was done correctly and looks great....
Adam gave us a good quote to clean out and dump some old sod. He was efficient and professional. He left the area nice and clean. He was quick to respond. I would definitely recommend him to others. Thank youJun 16, 2018Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Nothing is complicated, I will only give quotes if I have measurements, without measurements I cannot give an adequate quote, I like to be honest and give the prices to my customers on materials at my cost no mark up on any materials.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Start by giving a free estimate to get to k ow exactly what the customer wants and then measurements on certain things and then making the price fit customers budget
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I've been doing this work since I was a mid teenager and have had different skills taught to me by professionals throughout my years in this work
