Bruce officiated our wedding ceremony at the Rose Garden park in Santa Fe, it was about 20min long, very simple yet elegant and sweet which is exactly what we wanted. The whole process was beautiful and we received many compliments as it was well said along with a meaninfull tone. Timing and quality were important to us, and thats how it all went down. Lovely ceremony!! Thank you Bruce for all the hard work, excellent communication, and over all awesome service. Jason and Charmaine MartinezJul 1, 2014Verified
Our wedding was a bit unusual and I am sure posed a challenge for the Rev. Bruce Byers. Drue and I made our commitments in July of 1971 and after 42 years decided it was time to "make it legal". After confirming that Rev. Byers was willing to officiate we had lots of questions. What about the venue? We wanted the ceremony in Drue's home state of New Mexico...but where? The Court House steps....the hotel lobby? Rev. Byers suggested the Gazebo at Old Town, Albuquerque. Brilliant! We also wanted minimal religious content (except for the blessing of the rings). Bruce was OK with that. We needed witnesses. Bruce said "I can help with that"' I thought I had written some pretty good vows that spoke to our unique situation. Rev. Bruce worked them over and made them so much better. The ceremony was held in a very public place, with Rev. Bruce, Rev. Mary-Lynne Olsen Byers and their son as participants, and some very happy and supportive tourists as our wedding guests. Rev. Bruce made the event warm, personal, and joyous. He performed his work as officiant with an obvious sincere joy and willingness to focus on our desires and needs. Our lives continue to be filled with love and laughter and the beautiful memory of the Old Town Gazebo and the beautiful Byers family that will last us as long as coherence endures. Thanks, Rev. Bruce.Mar 18, 2014Verified
Bruce is the only one who was willing to create a ceremony to fit my needs I wanted a scottish Irish Wicca ceremony and he combined all 3 to make it an absolutly perfect wedding. Thank you again BruceApr 13, 2015Verified
Our family highly recommends Bruce Byers. We had a small home wedding and he created a beautifully intimate and meaningful service, precisely appropriate for our casual home setting. We enjoyed working with him through planning and the proceedings of the service.May 26, 2014

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? The prices listed are just a begining of what we do. We cover every time of ceremony; from short and sweet , to formal and luxurious. We can do any thing you want, from in office "just the Papers" to an elopement on top of the Sandias, to a formal wedding with 12 bridesmaides and groomsmen. We can custom write a ceremony for you or use one that is allready written, its up to you.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like to talk to my clients, but I understand that in today's world that's not always possible. I am perfectly fine with email and text, but I have found that communication is fairly important. For example if you want a ceremony that reflects your wants and wishes, it is best if I know what those are. If you want to honor family traditions, a little back ground is great to have.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have over seven years of post college training in ministry and spritual counseling. I have been doing wedding ceremonies for over a dozen years. I belong to several Wedding officiant associations and have both been mentored and have mentored othe wedding officiants.
