Specific behaviors to address
Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: We listen to the animals and have extreme compassion for them and their people. It makes teaching and learning a much easier process for all involved. Being a TTouch Practitioner also makes us stand out from the croud. My parents had a farm in Northwestern CT while I was growing up. I loved spending time there and helping take care of all the animals, so it's a dream come true to do it professionally.

Jess was simply the best trainer we have ever had..and we have had airedales since 1981. She is totally professional, firm and compassionate and developed a loving rapport with our dogs. She has kept the dogs while we were out of town and I was always worry-free. We miss her lots now that she is no longer in Santa fe.

Jessica was GREAT! She was always very positive in her training and attitude which was a big MUST for me. She took her time showing me great techniques and how to use training tools to transition my dogs into obedient creatures! I would highly recommend Jessica to any client looking for RESULTS!

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Constantly. I went through a two year program to become a TTouch Practitioner and there is an annual requirement for continuing education to maintain that. I also am a member of two different force-free training associations that require continuing Ed. There are also new and exciting scientific breakthroughs in animal behavior happening all the time that I want to stay on top of.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Most commonly I am called for behavioral problems like fear of vets, riding in the car or general fears, excessive barking, aggression, pulling on the leash, or jumping up.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Interview trainers! Choose someone you like, but if you see them doing something that makes you uncomfortable, don't hesitate to voice it. Change trainers. Don't go back.
