Roof Installation or Replacement
Great experience. Professional, prompt, friendly. Did a great job on the roof and cleaned up well when job was done.Apr 2, 2016Verified
Goodrich Roofing did an excellent job replacing our roof. They did a very good cleaning up. John the estimator was outstanding and very pleasant to work with. The price was fair. Thus far very happy.Nov 7, 2015Verified
Roof Repair or Maintenance
Leak in the home of my elderly parents. While Goodrich said they could not guarantee results, no effort was made to figure out what was causing the leak. They allegedly added some sealant to several areas on roof but they didn't even check the attic to see if that way they could figure out what was causing the leak. Needless to say, the next time it rained, the water poured in through the leak. I threw away $535 because these people did absolutely NOTHING!! Don't Trust them or hire them!!Nov 20, 2015Verified

Working with John Whitney was a pleasure. He was knowledgeable, answered all my questions, did not pressure me, was flexible when needed and followed up when needed. The roofers after getting started indicated they would be finished far earlier than expected then were not finished until later and left many personal items undone like they were in a hurry to get to "happy hour" on time. John is aware of this and let me know the roofing supervisor would call me to clean up (leaving nails behind for my dogs to possibly step on and not replacing lawn furniture and not cleaning up roofing debris, etc) however supervisor didn't call and took no action. John is aware of this situation. In spite of that situation, I love the roof and would recommend Goodrich to others. John was especially good to work with.Jan 6, 2016
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? No Two roofs are the same, thus, there is no standard pricing. My inspections and estimates cost $ZERO!!!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I listen to the customers roof problems and concerns. I strive to solve the issues, show the customer a video of the roof. I educate the customer on possible solution(s) and from there we formulate a detailed proposal. If the customer wants to hire us, I set up a schedule date and time, we also give a detailed and clear indication of what will happen once the crew get to site and what inconveniences there may be. I explain to the homeowner that when the projects are complete, that I do a final inspection.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a GB98 - New Mexico Contractors License, qualifications included many practical and educational years of experience in construction. I have an Associates degree in Construction management, this qualification helps me to present what the customer shall expect. It helps to see potential issues and dilemmas with regards to the install or roof repair. The degree really lends to being able to see the project through from start to finish with clean, detailed written and verbal communication. I have 5 years experience in the roof industry alone, with another 15 years in Construction and Engineering.
