Leslie Alsheimer, author of Black and White in Adobe Photoshop CS4 and Photoshop Lightroom, is an internationally published and award-winning photographer and author. Leslie is most known for her deeper perspective documentary essays addressing the human condition worldwide.
Her workspanning editorial, fine art and documentary genreswas most recently awarded with UNICEF: 2010 Photos of the Year, National Geographic and National Geographic Traveler International Photigraphy Merit Awards, and at FotoWeek DC 2009 with the Professional Journalism Award of Distinction.
Her imagery has appeared in the Corcoran Gallery of Art, numerous publications including Black & White Magazine, PDN, National Geographic, National Geographic Traveler, Outside Magazine, NPR: The Picture Show, and was featured in Photolucida's Critical Mass Top 50.
