We call her Jeanne Poppins and highly recommend her to take care of your child. From the moment she arrived with a little trinket for our five-year-old daughter and a willingness to get on my daughter's level to play, we knew this would be a great fit. Jeanne has been a tremendous asset to us in getting our child ready for kindergarten. She used her extensive teaching knowledge to create a mock school day complete with transitions, stars, and the occasional homework. Besides the academics, she is wonderfully creative and fun; many a fantastic art project came home as well. My daughter adores her. Your child will too.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My fee is $15.00 per hour, if you hire me for 4 hours per week or more. This is a very modest fee for a Mastered, Tenured Teacher of thirty years in the field. Some consulting, research and curriculum fees usually occur along the way. A complicated case may require a bit more per hour.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always researching, reviewing educational information. Currently I have been reviewing Special Education Law and Learning Disabilities. I also have been refining my work as a one on one provider for Home Schooling.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started working with children when I was a Teenager. I enjoyed it from the start and stayed with it ever since.
