Elliott was great to work with. I hired him as a videographer for an event I was doing photography for. He showed up on time, he was efficient, and his editing was amazing. Plus the product he produced was beyond perfect and exceeded all my expectations. I would hire him again in a heartbeat.

Elliott produced a sports video for my son. The editing was perfect. The music fit great. He was able to highlight the right parts at the right time. He is a perfectionist but gets it done.

Elliott was a great man for the job. I hired him to take video and edit a DJ promotional video for Mister Blaqk at the Yost Theater in Orange County, California. Elliott came with his own equipment and captured all the right shots at all the right moments. He seemed very experienced and was easy to work with. I would hire him for future events if he was local to the area.

I do not like writing this review but I feel strongly that I need to share my experience with hiring Cinematic Publicity - Elliott Enriquez with people who consider hiring him. In short, I have no video after 9 months, after paying a considerable deposit the day of the shooting, March 26, 2016. At this point, I do not expect that I will ever see the video. Clearly, I cannot in good conscience recommend his services. But if you do hire Cinematic Publicity, I encourage you to have a contract with Mr. Rodriguez. Here are the details, and I write them with as much fairness as I can: I hired Cinematic Publicity for my recital in Santa Fe. The day of the concert in the morning, we scheduled to shoot for 1 hour. Mr. Rodriguez did not appear very professional as it took him a considerable time to figure out how to set his equipment up and it took 2.5 hrs to shoot. At the end of a session, he wanted me to pay for the extra time even though it was because of him that we took so long but in the end, we agreed on a higher price and I gave him a deposit. We agreed that a month from that day, that is April 26, 2016, he would send me the completed video and I would pay the reminder of the money. As his due date neared, I sent him a reminder. He said that it was a misunderstanding, and that he did not say that he will have the video done in 1 month. I was upset as I had a planned to use that video for a advertising of my upcoming tour. He sent a test video clip on or around May 4th. The audio quality was not good, the video work was imaginative. He told me on May 9th the video is ready. But after an unpleasant communication, I did not want to deal with him, so have not replied his email for a month, as I should have. He wrote that he will discount $30 dollars for the delay in delivering the video. To fast forward, we spent several months going back and forth about the fact that the audio was bad (which is crucial for me as a musician), hands were not always in sync, and I was wondering where are the photos and footage of the outside that were supposed to be at the end of the video. He said that he was "moving boxes and was unable to find the SD cards" with that material. I was so sour about the state of the affairs, waiting for his replies and for the fulfillment of what he promised. In all fairness, I was equally slow in replying emails but at that point, I just wanted this nonsense to end. By Oct.28, he wrote me that he sent the video a while back. I searched everywhere but did not find any links to Dropbox he claimed to have sent. So I told him to send it again. It never happened. He wrote me that he is giving me the video for free(the one I did not receive) as long as I don't write a review. I asked him kindly to make this right - to send the video or return me the deposit. I made it clear that I will not be bribed not to write the review no matter what and gave him three weeks to reply. So here I am, spending my Christmas Holidays writing a review I would much rather not write. Please beware, it is not worth this headache. I will let Thumbtack know about this incident because I don't think they should have such people on their roster. To be fair, I do NOT think that Mr. Rodriguez meant to cheat me but I do think that he is unprofessional and he simply lost materials and forgot about what he promised. However, I did like what I saw on the video and I am sorry I will not get to have that video. The deposit was also never returned. An Update, January 7, 2017: I received the video, promptly and well-done. I am satisfied with the results. Mr. Rodriguez was professional since I posted the review and sent the video immediately after I asked for it.

Elliott was FANTASTIC to work with! I hired him to help produce a sports video for our daughter for help in the college recruiting process. He was efficient with his process, thoughtful in his editing of what we thought we wanted highlighted vs. what might be better, gave us good opinions of an outsider looking in, called when he questioned certain aspects of the sport and listened to us in regards to what, how and when we wanted it presented. The video he produced was FAR above our expectations and the music added the perfect touch to the video. We would hire him again in a second! Juliana
