The quality of the photos was disappointing. We had an outdoor wedding on a partly overcast, occasionally sunny day and she assured us she had plenty of experience shooting outdoors. She said she typically does a lot of editing after the event, but the product she delivered looked like it had very little investment of effort beyond the 5 hours she spent taking the photos. The colors in many of the photos were dull and appeared washed out; people's complexions looked pasty. Many guests sent us photos taken on their cell phones, and the color, clarity, and candid nature of their photos rivaled Keara's. Finally, many of the photos she sent us were exact duplicates, making it seem like we received more photos than we actually did. On the positive side: she did capture some nice poses, and her presence was unobtrusive.Nov 12, 2018VerifiedKeara Lloyd Photography's reply
Hi Vicki, I am sorry that you are unhappy about the photos that you received. I always try to work with my clients to deliver the best photographs of their day, often delivering 2-5 photos immediately after the event and then the online gallery shortly after. During this process I encourage my clients to provide me with feedback regarding the editing and content of their galleries. Neither Chloe nor yourself told me you were unhappy with the gallery in the emails I sent as follow up to the wedding, so I am little shocked to see this review I loved shooting Chloe and Davids big day. The photos delivered are consistent with my editing style, which is presented on my website and on my thumbtack profile, which leads me to believe you didn't like my work prior to me shooting the event. If you would like to email me to continue to chat about this, you have my email. -Keara

Keara is an incredibly talented photographer and far exceeded my wildest expectations. I truly cannot say enough good things about her eye for framing and use of natural light. The final photos had rich colors, subtle crispness, and they look deceivingly effortless. Truly, her work made everything look even better than it did in real life--they could be in a magazine or on a gallery wall or in a coffee table book. Our friends and family have been raving about the photos. I was looking for a photographer to go undercover to shoot my proposal to my then-girlfriend, now-fiancee, on a horseback ride outside of Santa Fe, NM. I arranged the horseback ride and a cover story for Keara with our guide and wrangler. Keara played along excellently and my fiancee was none-the-wiser. Keara was extremely professional, outgoing, kind, and made it so easy to arrange an unorthodox photo shoot even though we hadn't met in person. She was easily reachable for questions at all times leading up to the shoot. Her professionalism is second only to her abundant talent. After the shoot, Keara's turn-around with the photos was very quick, and she soon sent us a link to a private website that hosts our photos and also allows us to download them. The website is beautiful and modern and so, so cool! I could tell from Keara's portfolio that her experience would be perfect for our shoot and that her style would come through in her work. I was absolutely right! We could not be any more thrilled with Keara's photos. I highly, highly recommend her.Jun 11, 2018Verified
