Terri was a wonderful reader. She truly touched my soul. A very supportive, kind, and intuitive human being. She certainly is in this business for all the right reasons: to be of spiritual service and guidance to her customers. This was by far the best psychic reading I have ever had, and it was overall a healing experience. If you are looking for advice, insight, support, and healing, I highly recommend this reader. She is a joy to work with, and I am certain she will help you, for truly her intentions are purely to help and be of service. A wonderful human being, who I feel will genuinely try her very best to use her skills to help you on your path.

VERY ETHICAL PSYCHIC WITH A CONSCIENCE! Caasha is definitely not your average psychic! Her skills are very unique. She is able to see clearly events of the past, present, and future and provides information very fast with little to no information from her clients. She has provided me with very accurate love and relationship advice, career guidance, legal advice, and even reads my dog! Not only is she able to see if unseen and unnatural forces such as witchcraft/voodoo/black magic are affecting a situation but she has told me who put the items there, their intent, where the items are located, how to safely discard them and how to clear the area of the negativity!!! I have referred her to several people, including my mother. If you are facing any situation for which you need answers or have a problem that keeps you up at night, I urge you to consult Caasha to look in the situation for you - you will not be disappointed!!! You will receive the information you need to move forward.

I met Gerardo in Las Vegas at the Luminosity Wellness Center. I am so happy to have met someone who truly understands health. Gerardo is a health coach who has helped me with weight loss tips, but also showed me how others areas of my life affected my health. Gerardo shines in knowledge of food: sourcing, preparation, cooking, and diet. In addition to helping with food, he gave me health strategies that upgraded the quality of my air and water. I had no idea how those things affected my health. He also brought up the topics of career, exercise and relationships to make sure I was supported in those areas too. He has been my personal guide helping me on my path to a better life. I am so thankful for his support.

I've known Dorothy in one of our volunteer works like 6 years ago, and from there I became a frequent visitor in her house here in the Philippines. Our conversations came in many forms, from impromptu, structured, prepared or with agenda, Ive learned so many things from these 1on1 conversations. I can talk about anything if Im with her, she just fully listens without interrupting, she gives her honest feedback without letting you feel atfault, and every conversation ends with a positive solution. I still remember the first lesson she taught me, and that was the choices I make, and how to weigh things around in order to get into a good choice which considers a win-win situation. Dot as I fondly call her has the power in giving you the energy of positivity & openness. When I applied this energy, there I met my husband, I believe that everything that happened to my life right now can be associated with all the life experiences, but the application came from Dot's coaching and guidance. Even after she left Philippines to live in Las Vegas, I still continue to contact her online, especially if I have a very important decision to make that requires honest and unbiased opinion. I met her this year when she was in a vacation here in the Philippines, and I was glad she did an angel card reading to me & my husband. The energy was so real that until now, my husband keeps talking about it. I feel that my journey with this beautiful soul wouldnt end, because she became not just my coach, but my friend as well.

Dina has transformed my once overweight daughter into a thriving and very physically fit 12 year old that now blends in with the rest of the kids and kicks butt at PE ..My daughter went from a size 18-20 to a now impressive healthy size 9 and still going! Dina is a strict and focused trainer with a heart of gold! She helped with the excercise program and nutrition , which for us was the only way . Without her help and guidance my beautiful baby girl would still be overweight and unhealthy . She helped our whole family . It's the best decision I've ever made . It's scary as a parent deciding to get a trainer for your child , after I made the choice Dina made it so easy and comfortable that I had no regrets from the start . Thanks Dina!

Having taken an unexpected early retirement, and living the retirement life for 8 months, I decided to delve into looking for another career. Being employed for so many years, I was not prepared for the many changes that have taken place in searching for employment. I used Google to search out how to create a resume. What I discovered was so much conflicting information, do this, do that, add this, don’t add that, how many pages, etc. It was daunting and I felt defeated. So I tried ideas from each site and sat down to create my resume. I typed up my resume, adding my last employer. It turned out to be four pages long. Not thinking too much about the length of it, I was mailing and emailing it to prospective employers. I must have sent out a dozen or so. I started to wonder why I wasn’t getting any call backs for interviews, not a one. I wondered if I needed to change my resume, but where would I start? How I would start? What would I need to do to change it? I wondered if it might be too long. I had a feeling the problem was the way I laid out my resume, but didn’t know what I needed to do to change it. Working on this hunch, I got in touch with Sandy. She and I spoke on the phone for almost 2 hours. She explained to me how resume formatting had changed over the years, gave me pointers on how to create it, informed me that four pages was WAY TOO LONG, and to get it down to no more than 2 pages and down to 1 preferably. She gave me tips on how to pare down my resume, interview tips, what to say, and more importantly what NOT to say, tips on attire, etc. I went to work on reconstructing my resume taking all her advice and managed to get it down to 2 pages. I sent out this new resume on a tight deadline to one potential employer before I called her back about my revamped resume. I emailed it to her, and then called her. Over the phone, she guided me through the new resume, asking me detailed questions regarding each employer and duties, skills, etc and before the conversation was over, she had single handedly helped me get my resume down to ONE PAGE!! I started sending out this new, more appropriate resume and had 4 calls for interviews within a week’s time. There were other phone calls from me to Sandy due to my not being able to figure out issues within Microsoft Word, which she helped me get cleared up. I’m no expert on resumes or Microsoft Word, but I am much more learned than I was before. I owe my current career to Sandy’s unwavering, selflessness and willingness to help me get back into the “game”. Love you, Sandy x x

I can’t say that I felt very comfortable working out at the gym. In fact, like many people, I felt completely out of place. Having Chris to guide me through the process put me completely at ease. With every session, Chris would give me new diet ideas and exercises that kept me in engaged and progressing towards my fitness/health goals; boosting my self confidence every step of the way! In the past 14 months, with Chris’ guidance, I have dropped from a size 14 to a size 2. My overall health has improved to the extent that I could stop taking several of my prescription medications. I can truly say that Chris has changed my life and I am sure he could do the same for you!

I have 12 years of professional and managerial experience as a higher education practitioner, specializing in Enrollment Management: Admissions Counselor and Recruiting, Academic Advising, and Career Services. I've consulted with hundreds of families to ensure that their students make a smooth transition from high school to either college or the workforce. My main focus is not getting to college, but understanding how to get through college. I also work with those individuals either transitioning to the workforce or returning to the workforce by providing coaching assistance on developing soft skills, interviewing techniques, resume writing, cover letters, and discovering how to create links between individual passion and applicable careers. I specialize in meeting a person where they currently are and working with them to achieve their dream...hence the name "Wake Your Dream Up." Often times we spend countless hours wondering what we want to be when we "grow up" versus discovering where we are impactful and truly passionate about. My services will cause you to view yourself in ways that you never have before and link your true passion to a college major or career.

            Q & A

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

            What is a career coach?

If you’re interested in furthering your career and want expert help, a career coach is a smart solution. A career coach is a professional you hire to guide you during a job search or a career transition, or to help you improve and advance in your current position. A career coach analyzes your work situation and learns what your professional goals are. They then create a strategy to help you achieve your targets. Throughout the process they should provide objective feedback and guide you in approaching the process strategically. Here are some of the tools and tasks a career coach may assist you with:

            • Helping you build a strong resume that reflects your work history, potential, and skills
            • Coaching for interviews and strategies for solid answers built around your resume and the target job
            • Defining your career goals
            • Creating a plan for job searching
            • Improving networking strategies and skills
            • Developing strategies for negotiating raises or promotions
            • Assessing why you’re not getting where you want to go
            • Identifying new positions or career opportunities that fit your skills

            What is a life coach?

A professional, accredited life coach works with people to help them make important changes in their life, either growing in their profession or changing gears in their personal lives. They help clients turn their dreams or wishes into realistic, attainable goals. They guide people through the process of making life changes by helping them evaluate the steps they must take to reach a particular goal, then help them decide how — and whether — to take those steps in the most efficient, effective and rewarding way possible. A life coach acts as a motivator, strategist and accountability partner. Unlike a therapist, a life coach doesn’t help solve problems from your past — they’re focused on helping you move forward with new ways of acting and thinking that will help you reach your goals. Some people specialize in particular types of life coaching, including life balancing coaches, small business coaches, executive coaches and personal finance coaches. Some meet clients in person, while others hold consultations over the phone.

Regardless of which type of life coach you’re interested in, make sure the person holds an International Coach Federation (ICF) credential. There are three tiers of credentials: Associate, Professional and Master, which require coaching experience ranging from 100 hours to 2,500 hours.

            Why is career counseling important?

Career counseling can help you discover your career path, help you overcome challenges preventing you from finding happiness in your job, or help you learn more about career opportunities that are available to you. Career counselors are typically counselors who specialize in helping guide people into their best career choices. As professionals, they have typically completed a master’s degree in counseling with a focus on career counseling and bring a nuanced understanding of the emotional blocks that prevent someone from doing what they love or getting ahead in their current position. Here are some of the ways that career counseling can help:

            • Identify your skills and talents and how they correlate to different career paths
            • Educate you about the educational requirements for launching in various careers and what earnings can look like
            • Help you understand the kind of environment you want to work in, and which careers are best suited for that
            • See opportunities to transfer your existing skill set to other career areas
            • Help you identify causes of tension or unhappiness in your current career and how to overcome those difficulties
            • Help you create a game plan for moving forward
            • Provide a safe space for you to understand your feelings about career choices you’re making

How much does a life coach cost?

A life coach helps clients set and reach professional and personal goals, develop positive habits, and deal with stress. Some people meet with a life coach once or twice, while others form an ongoing professional relationship, meeting regularly in person or on the phone. The average national cost to meet with a life coach ranges from $80 to $130 an hour. Some coaches offer per-session pricing, especially for one-time meetings; expect to pay an average of $100-$125. People who want to work with a coach over a period of time to explore life transitions, career growth or lifestyle changes may be able to get discounted pricing in a package. For example, three 60-minute sessions cost an average of $300, four 60-minute sessions cost an average of $350, and four 60- to 90-minute sessions plus unlimited contact between sessions cost an average of $400. Some specific types of coaching, such as relationship or marriage coaching, cost more than standard life coaching. For instance, three 60-minute relationship coaching sessions cost an average of $500, four 60-minute sessions cost an average of $550, and six 60- to 90-minute sessions cost an average of $650 when purchased as a package. Training and experience can also affect the cost of hiring a life coach. An Associate Certified Coach, who holds a certification that requires only 60 hours of training and 100 hours of coaching experience, will charge less than a Master Certified Coach, who typically has at least 200 hours of training and 2,500 hours of coaching experience.

            What is a career counselor?

If you’re feeling lost in your career path, overwhelmed, in need of a job but confused as where to start, or ready for change but uncertain what you want, a career counselor is a good choice for you. A career counselor is typically a licensed professional who has earned a master’s degree in counseling — likely with an emphasis on career counseling. Each state has different licensing requirements for career counselors, so be sure to research before reaching out to a pro.

Due to their academic backgrounds, career counselors often have a more holistic and in-depth approach than a career coach. Career coaches are not regulated by states and also tend to be more business-focused — a good fit for those who know what they want but need help achieving it. On the other hand, a career counselor provides guidance and clarity around some of the more emotional aspects that job hunting and career movement entail. Career counselors meet with you in a series of one-on-one sessions. They assess your personality and learn what drives you. They get a detailed understanding of your work history and your hopes, and often work to help you discover any internal blocks preventing you from going where you want to go. Hiring a career counselor is appropriate at any time in your career, from recent graduate to executive-level management.

Hire skilled professionals for absolutely everything.
