I'm one of his top students and for the near 3 years I've worked with him he's a phenomenal teacher that takes his time with students and hopes for their achievements and I highly recommend him to students looking for piano lessons.
Pam is terrific! She is warm & sets you at ease but gets right down to work. She also really listens to your goals and works to get you there. I needed her for voice lessons for a few tv interviews I am doing. She is AWESOME! Highly recommended! Aimee Elizabeth, author of Poverty Sucks! How to Become a Self-Made Millionaire.
Very patient and encouraging. Helped me out a lot. He figures out where nyou need help and what your interest is and molds the lessons accordingly.
We are very excited to get started with the voice lessons. Everything to this point has been smooth.
Susan is such an amazing and inspiring woman. It took a lot of courage for me to step into her home and start my journey into private vocal lessons but she made it so comfortable for me! She is a very serious woman and does not sugar coat anything. I feel like that is such an important aspect of her lessons. She has so much to offer you as a singer. Her lessons build a strong and confident singer inside and out! Take lessons with Susan!!!! -Diva Dave
I've had three singing lessons and I am amazed at the huge improvement I have experienced in that short amount of time. Gary knows how to explain things in a way that you can't help but learning. He is fun and very knowledgeable. I don't think I could have found a better teacher!
I studied Spanish with Heidi for 10 weeks (I will also take more lessons over the summer) and my Spanish is getting better already. It's all down to confidence, we mainly talk during the lessons, no English is used and therefore progress are made quicker. Conversation type lessons work better for me, I had a basic knowledge of spanish from high school but never really had a chance to converse after that. I highly recommend Heidi, I had a great experience so far!
Elaine was wonderful before we even started our lessons. She helped us find pianos and even went to look at one for us. Her lessons are tailored perfect to a couple like us. Love her
Vince has been an awesome bass teacher and customized my lessons as I progress - always look forward to my lessons and am challenged to learn in a way that keeps me engaged and excited
Our 6 year old son has been taking piano lessons from Patrick for almost a year and we have been very happy. Patrick is very patient with him and lets him do his own thing and then circles back to the lesson. He teaches to how he wants to learn and tries to accommodate his little mind's requests while teaching him the basics. I very highly recommend.
Travis is a wonderful teacher to my two kids, ages 8 and 5. My kids enjoyed him as he made his lessons enjoyable and he taught piano in a way an 8 year old and 5 year old can understand. He is also very thorough and knowledgable. It makes learning piano fun and easy! Thank you Travis!
My daughter takes lessons from Robert. He is outstanding, very patient and thorough. i would highly reccomend him.
My experience with Kristie is from taking private guitar lessons with Tommy Regits and Over the Mountain Music Studio. In the beginning, years ago, Krisite was the friendly face behind the scenes, always there with a welcoming smile and a keen attention to detail. Krisite was very efficient in scheduling and adjusting schedules to meet my changing needs. Back then Kristie was developing her studio, and learning to use all of the latest technology to enhance anyone's musical experience. As for Tommy Regits, and Over the Mountain Music Studio, well the experience will ROCK you and change the way you interact with music. Whether a complete beginner, young or old, or an accomplished musician, Tommy adjusts his style to meet the needs of his students. My son is an accomplished musician and also spent some time with Tommy, developing a deeper understanding of how music structure works at a level beyond music theory. Tommy and Kristie really care about their students, and help each one get the most out of their time together. They take the time to prepare for each lesson and are fully engaged without distraction for the entire lesson. Always a cheerful attitude. Kristie and Tommy can do everything to help you get to the level of performance you desire...well except for doing your practice...Ha! Anyway, young or old, beginner or professional, they can help you go above and beyond your own expectations. And check around, they are the best deal in town. My money is valuable to me and I spend it wisely, so here's some wisdom, give the Desert Dawn Studio and Kristie, or Over the Mountain Music Studio and Tommy an opportunity to enhance your experience, and write your own review! And tell your friends (but only after you get the good time slot...)! Music is a wonderful gift and all it takes is some practice, and with the proper instruction your time will be well spent. Lastly there is a lot of stuff on the internet but none of that even remotely compares to having someone understand and care about you creating your own reality with music. Once you have the music no one can ever take it away from you. If you are choosing to invest in yourself, make a small deposit with them, your investment will grow fast.
Learning under Jared has done wonders. He’s knowledgeable and practical, takes the time to understand where you are in your progress and fits the curriculum to move you on the right path. Two months into our lesson and i feel like I’ve improved so much not only in my play and practice, but in my composition and understanding of the very fundamentals of music and guitar.
He offered an introductory class for free. He responded to my messages very quick. He even reached out while I was on my way "Just making sure you can find it" because of construction it wasn't as easy to find. Now that I found it, it will be easy next time. He was there waiting for me. I haven't yet paid for a lesson so this was based on my first lesson. I walked in and he said, "So, which song would you like to learn?" I wasn't prepared for this question so I rattled off a song I attempted on my own, "Blake Shelton - Home." He pulled it up on his computer and right there he listened to it and began to explain what's going on in the song. He then worked with me on the intro by showing me the chord progressions, strumming patterns, and how the song is played. He then showed me different chord positions for the G. He explained why you use certain finger positions. He also showed me how to play the song for a beginner so we could have some fun with it. I played one part of the song and he played the other. He gave me homework to help me get to the point that would allow me to play the song the way it's meant to be played. He e-mailed me the chords for the song so I could work on it all week long. We talked a little about what I'm looking for in lessons and he made sure to tell me, "Some people don't care to learn theory and just want to play. That's up to you." He was trying to tailor the lessons and future lessons around me. We'll see how they continue to go but the first lesson was informative and I will be back.
dimitri is a pleasure to learn composition from. his encyclopedic knowledge of both contemporary and classical music made our lessons a great time, when he would pick out an obscure janis joplin b-side with a fugue in it, or decompose a ratatat song into its components and highlight the parallels with baroque music. it really clicked and in just a few lessons i had already started adding big changes to my compositions. really opened up the box i had been in for years. he's a nice and funny guy, too just a great time, some great synth sounds, a great teacher.
I've never really had a professional voice coach before, but with only a few lessons I feel even more confident with singing. Ms. Linda has a lot of wisdom and positive energy. Definitely an amazing teacher!
Sean was willing to come over to our house for a very reasonable price. He is very kind, and my son loves him. He started teaching my son notes, and after he left my son already began practicing. We're looking forward for the next lesson.
My experience with Johnny was great as he gave me my 1st lesson. As I had never played before I can guarantee I played better and could see improvements after him helping me in just one lesson ! Thanks Johnny !
Ally was wonderful with our kids, ages 8 and 6. They always enjoyed their lessons and the recital was a lot of fun. We wish she was going to stay in Madison, but our loss is Las Vegas's gain!
I cannot express enough what an excellent instructor, Pianist and person Dr. Campbell is. Miss Bethany has been the instructor for our son for about 2 years now. She is very professional, but fun and lighthearted at the same time. My Son absolutely loves and can't wait for his lessons each week. She has a profound way of connecting with each student and bringing the best out of each one. I highly recommend Dr. Campbell.
