Introduction: Growing up, my mother owned a pet sitting business that I often helped her with. Now, years later, I have the knowledge and experience to care for most animals. I've worked with a variety of pets in the past, including exotic and special needs animals. I hope you'll consider me!

Dog Walking

My husband was suddenly admitted to a hospital in January and I needed a dog walker fast. I found Christina on Thumbtack, called her and she was able to come over and walk Redskins immediately. He is not a friendly dog, but she was patient, worked with him and gained his trust. Christina is a delightful person, knowledgeable about many subjects. She walked Redskins many days, even when my husband returned home. Not long ago, he went into the hospital again..... I called Christina, said "i need you" and she came over that day. I recommend her for any pet sitting or walking. She is the best....just ask Redskins. Shirley H

Christina did an excellent job taking care of my mini pinscher when I went on a trip out of town! My dog usually barks at everyone and is uneasy about strangers but she seemed calm and at ease when she met Christina. This was our first time using a dog sitter and Christina’s way with animals made the trip easier because we didn’t have to stress about the dog at home.

Quality service at amazing prices! Christina has been supportive and accommodating to my (cat's) specific needs and requests and time frames. I am so glad to have found her and will absolutely call upon her services again in the near future!

Christina is a great pet sitter! She loves the animals she cares for. I’ve witnessed her caring for animals since she was very young. She used to help her mom with her pet sitting business. Christina is a natural.

Christina is my go-to sitter for my three fur babies. She has sat for me half a dozen times and she never disappoints. She’s extremely attentive to all 3 dogs and responds in a timely manner when I ask for updates. The house is beautiful when I return home and I know Christina puts the needs of my dogs first while she’s with them. Leaving your pets can be stressful. Therefore, I highly recommend Christina’s services to anyone who wants to feel relaxed knowing their pets are in great hands!

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My pricing is fluid. It can fluctuate based on distance, number of pets, length of the job, etc. For each drop-in (1-2 hour long visits), I charge $10-$20. I only do drop-ins for locations within ~7mi of my neighborhood (Boulder and Equestrain). For overnight stays (me staying in the client's home overnight), I charge (on average) $30/1 dog/night + $10/every additional dog/night (ex: 1 dog=~$30/night, 2 dogs=~$40/night, 3 dogs=~$50/night, etc). I do overnights for any location as long as it is technically within Henderson or Las Vegas. I'm not super solid on prices, so I can work with you as long as it stays reasonable. And for longer stays (1 week+), I usually lower the price because of the consistency of the job.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

My mom owned a pet sitting business when I was young. As a result, I often tagged along and ended up learning how to care for pets, pet first aid, basic behavior training, and client communication etiquette. As a teenager, I started pet sitting for my friends and neighbors. Eventually, it turned into a highly profitable side-hustle, and now it accounts for a large portion of my income.
