FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is fluid. It can fluctuate based on distance, number of pets, length of the job, etc. For each drop-in (1-2 hour long visits), I charge $10-$20. I only do drop-ins for locations within ~7mi of my neighborhood (Boulder and Equestrain). For overnight stays (me staying in the client's home overnight), I charge (on average) $30/1 dog/night + $10/every additional dog/night (ex: 1 dog=~$30/night, 2 dogs=~$40/night, 3 dogs=~$50/night, etc). I do overnights for any location as long as it is technically within Henderson or Las Vegas. I'm not super solid on prices, so I can work with you as long as it stays reasonable. And for longer stays (1 week+), I usually lower the price because of the consistency of the job.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My mom owned a pet sitting business when I was young. As a result, I often tagged along and ended up learning how to care for pets, pet first aid, basic behavior training, and client communication etiquette. As a teenager, I started pet sitting for my friends and neighbors. Eventually, it turned into a highly profitable side-hustle, and now it accounts for a large portion of my income.
