- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
In general, most sessions are $299 and include digital files, high resolution with print release. There are some exceptions to the rules, such as newborn photography, commercial photography, head shots, and images which require commercial use.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
New clients will typically do a consultation to discuss what they are looking for in their session as far as vision, and photographic requirements. From there, after invoice and contract, we move on to photographing the session, and delivery usually takes place 2 weeks after.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have college education and background for both my basic photography skills and business skills. My marketing and business skills also stem from 2-3 trips a year to business and marketing seminars. I also further my training and education by taking various online and in person workshops relating to photography as a niche itself, posing, lighting, composition, and new products that emerge on the photography market for clients to purchase. I have Red Cross certification in child and newborn emergency care should an issue arise during a session or consultation.
